That is NOT the weight they fight at ,, its the weight they weigh-in at 30 hrs earlier ,,,,, big difference !! Manny fights at 147 while Shane and Cotto fight close to 160 ,,,, its not hard to work out

pac can't make 126 lbs anymore so he shouldn't fight 126 lbers. Mosley and Cotto can't make 140 lbs anymore, so they shouldn't be fighting a 140 lber like Pac.

This catch weight stuff is out of hand... These aren't even championship bouts! If Roach doesn't want to make welterweight fights with the biggest names in the welterweight division, he can have a field day with the Nate Campbells and Timothy Bradleys of the world. Mosley, Cotto, and to some extent even Mayweather can't and shouldn't get below 147. Manny fought at that weight before and excelled, but all of a sudden it's too much to ask? Fine, everybody should realize that they are in different weight classes and move on.

either way cotto and shane can't make 140 and 142.

if this fight happens it'll be 143-144 for cotto or 145 for mosley.

roach is just asking for the lowest he can get.

What they need to do is neither cotto or mosley is allow to weigh more than 148 on fight night..So the fight could happen at 147.

And the result of that is , Cotto and Mosley would be dehydrated by 12pounds ,, look Cotto and Mosley are bigger a lot bigger there is no even fight no matter how you carve it up .

Vlad could not make it either does that mean Manny is ducking him , Manny is at least 12 pds lighter on fight night than those guys get that through your head , you dont see Mosley and Cotto wanting Pavlik which is the same scenario .

Pavlik wouldn't be a big fight for either fighter. I believe both Cotto and Mosley would kill Pavlik too.

If this isn't a feasible fight, maybe Pacquiao's own camp should drop the subject.

Never heard of a catchweight title.

Cotto has the belt at WW/147 pounds. That's also where he is healthy.

Team Pacquiao's intention is to purposefully have these fighters unhealthy for the fight.

Roach couldnt do Cotto at 140, he would have to go to 140.01 so that Cotto's WW title was on the line. Then Pac could be called a 7 division champ, right?? lol

When does this nonsense with Roach end? Maybe he can start putting in the contract that the opponent cant throw more than 20 jabs a round, or that they cant throw the left hook. lol

Bottom line is this: If you are not willing to fight someone in their natural division, then keep their name out of your mouth.
