I like manny but think he should stay away from Cotto and Mosley. Mosley in particular. Its hard to seriously hurt Molsey and I can see him breaking Pac down. Cotto would make for a good fight but if Pac takes some hard shots it could be bad news.

***** move by Cotto and Shane? WTF? That is the weight they fight at dude and Manny had no problems going up to 147 and facing ODLH. Is a ***** move by Manny because he needs to drain them to have a chance.

He knows Cotto and Mosley will kill him at 145 or 147 so he wants them tu put their health on the line to fight him.

          ***** MOVE!!
Thing is mate you say 145-147 but they wont be that in the fight and Manny will be ,, Cotto and Mosley will have 12 pounds on him , if they fought at 147 meaning stepping the ring at 147 , Manny would kill them as they would be 12 pds dehydrated ,,,,, look at the big picture before you throw stones .

It really does work both ways. It's a ***** move asking him to compete with much bigger guys like Cotto. WTF. How difficult is it too see this? He is out-sized and out-weighed at 147 going against dudes who enter the ring at 160 with height and reach advantages. F'king ridiculous. People, stop bitching about Roach for wanting to level the playing field and make sure his fighter doesn't end up dead. Can't make the weight? Then **** off and find another fight. Simple.
Then Manny should go back to featherweight and keep fighting small bums.

Was it OK to fight Oscar at 147 or was it a risk? Well, reading almost any piece of literature from before the fight, it was not only a big risk, but a huge mismatch, according to pretty much everyone (except those of us who said he'd whip Oscar's ass )

Let's not lie about it -- most people on the planet thought Pacquiao was taking a massive risk. And as stated earlier, I am 100% sure Roach said 147 was a one-off.

It was worth the risk for a great payday.

Cotto looked sluggish and vulnerable at the end of his 140 campaign. If he were to ever fight Pac at that weight there wouldnt be a doubt in my mind he'd lose, and I for one wouldnt credit pac for that win. I dont think Pac would ever fight Mosley tbh, even at 147 Mosley rehydrates to over 160. Lets hope money doesnt cloud sense this time..

mosley is probably more willing because his wife took a lot but Cotto is probably more able.

Manny also has no problems making 140 lbs to face Hatton.

why should Manny fight Cotto and Mosley at 147 when both officially weigh 147? DLH fought Pac at a catchweight of 147. Why should Cotto and Mosley not get a catchweight when DLH, who is a bigger fight than Cotto or Mosley, had to fight pac at a catchweight????!!!!!

It's a ***** move because Cotto and Mosley want to fight a guy who officially weighted 138 lbs to fight hatton.

What they need to do is neither cotto or mosley is allow to weigh more than 148 on fight night..So the fight could happen at 147.
