Dude fought til he couldn't fight no more. If the fight was still winnable at the time of the stoppage, you could say he quit. That wasn't true tho. Get off this **** already.

What plaster? Margarito's gloves passed inspection by the NSAC and Cotto's own people. I don't think Cotto quit, but his fans trying to just excuse it and pretend that Cotto was merely a victim is pathetic.

cotto didn't shake his head "NO"... he looked to his corner to save him.

How did he quit tho?..he didn't stay in his corner..on his stool..he didn't remain on his knee for the full 10 count..he was up on his feet!..and evangelista threw the towel in!..
cotto was a defeated man. he wanted his corner to save him. no shame, he fought his heart out like a warrior and had nothing left to give. he quit, plain and simple.

I think cotto would've taken 10 knees to stop the bludgening that margo was putting on him.

cotto isn't a coward though, he did the right thing for his health, career and family.

Than I challenge you're memory or the fact that you even saw it..Cotto clearly shook his head NO to his corner right before the towel was thrown in..go see it for yourself..he was a defeated man..but he didn't quit..10 knees woulda meant he was still getting up..hence not quitting!..

I like how..you an obvious Cotto hater..feels the need to subliminally disguise it with "there's nothing wrong that he quit".."he's a warrior"..fact is..Zab didn't quit..he took a knee against Cotto..Corley didn't quit he took 2 knees and was a bull**** stoppage..Cotto didn't quit..he took 2 knees and Evangelista threw in the towel..taking a knee does not = QUITTING!..PERIOD..

Bottom line..he lost..and still in a MUCH MUCH better position than Margarito has ever been..so..fuck it..

This one would drag on and on and end exactly where it started

                But to shorten it down

Lads does it matter if he did Quit or not?

If you think about it NO!

                Move on....

Not like he waved his hands and told the ref no more

He just went down on one knee
