Morales did the same when Pac landed him on his ass he just stayed there smiled at his old man and got up late if memory serves me correct...

Listen what do you want blood lol if he would of died in that ring that night
y'all would of been making threads saying 'He should of stopped he should of told his corner' and dont deny it...

No excuse for Duran's "No Mas" and Acelino Freitas (Biggest quiter in boxing) or JCC against Frankie Randall 2nd fight

Cotto didn't quit in their level, he had a really good reason to

Gully you should put your points in the bank, you get more that way.

There's a difference between quiting and been smart, if you can't take anymore, tomorrow is another day. If you think he's a quiter you're an idiot and don't know anything about boxing, how many times we have seen fighter dying or getting seriously injured because they don't know when to stop. Your health is more important, and Cotto has a bright future in boxing, wheter some people like it or not.

I like how..you an obvious Cotto hater..feels the need to subliminally disguise it with "there's nothing wrong that he quit".."he's a warrior"..fact is..Zab didn't quit..he took a knee against Cotto..Corley didn't quit he took 2 knees and was a bull**** stoppage..Cotto didn't quit..he took 2 knees and Evangelista threw in the towel..taking a knee does not = QUITTING!..PERIOD..

Bottom line..he lost..and still in a MUCH MUCH better position than Margarito has ever been..so..fuck it..
see, you think quitting means cotto is a coward.

I don't think so. Cotto gave 110% and lost. There's no shame in that. There's no cowardice for giving your best and coming up short.

            Co-Sign. I don't understand this.

Guys, I love Cotto as much as anyone, but he quit. But there's no shame in it. He left his heart in that ring, and in the end he just had the fight beaten out of him.

You don't take two knees, throw no punches, and expect the fight to continue. He knew what he was doing. But there's nothing wrong with that, I respect it. He was a beaten man and had given everything he had.

cotto isn't a "quitter" though. he may have quit, submitted, forfeited. but he isn't a quitter. it's not like he is a repeat offender or an under achiever like a certain zab judah who some how always manages to beat himself. i just don't like how some people are using the term. they are using it to demean him as a fighter. calling dude quitto like i said is a disrespect to him and the sport as a whole.
