Hopkins rates higher for me. Before lacy joes cv is pretty poor but after lacy it is decent. How decent really depends on how good kessler turns out to be. Rjj was obviously well on the slide. On the calzaghe hopkins fight i had joe winning that one even though it was close. Hopkins just didnt do enough for me and his low blow rolling around didnt do him any good imo

Calzaghe padded his thin resume at the end of his career by taking on the best two fighters of the 90s. He got dropped by these senile old men in the 1st round both times. Jones and Hopkins both, if they were anywhere near their primes, put Joe to bed in 8 rounds.

Hopkins was 43! How active does a 43 need to be? What did that fightprove? It proves Joe was desperate to padd his resume to save comparisons to Sven ottke or Marciano, 0 and 1 trick pones at best. Apparently he fail. However i agree on the Kessler part, if Kessler turns out to be a world class fighter i will cut Joe some slack. Beat Dawson, Direll and the other top fighters and he can save Joe. But why the hell would his handlers keep him in Denmark when he's damn near 30 if not already? Obviously they know something we don't. Same as when Ricky's sparring was being hidden. They always know something we don't.
