Those ranking were are all at the end of a great era in the featherweight division so it's not like he was beating Morales and barrera at the top of their game. To top it off the Marquez win/Draw were highly questionable but since time has proven that Marquez was the better fighter of the 3 Pacman should still get credit for taking on the best he could at the time. Plus he beat a Natural Junior Middleweight and destroyed the best 140 pounder of this generation so he already proved he deserves to be #1 PFP.

i think barrera was close to his prime for the 1 and certainly past it on the 2nd.

Well if you read my post originally rather than going immeditaely on the defensive you would know. Eventhough you know already as I have told you three times. You stated why the fights didn't hapen but I clearly stated I was simply saying the fights happened at the wrong time not why they happened at the wrong time and not who's fault it was. no way can anyone claim Barrera was shot the first time Pacquiao beat him. After he lost to pacquaio Barrera went on like a 6 fight win streak and he unified two titles.

I think people just made him out to be better than he actually was. In my opinion he was very inconsistant in the ring and the Junior Jones losses proved that he wasn't as good as we thought him to be. Seriously had he never beat hamed we would have never considered him anything more than a B+ fighter who got the better of another B+ fighter.

after that he fought 1 tuneup at 126 in philippines and then fought morales.

in 16 months he fought the #1 guy at 126 , the #2 guy at 126 and the #2 guy at 130.
