he faced the best available. even if people around him says he got no chance.

DLH is a zombie? hardly. barrera was shot? no. you all should appreciate this unique fighter. instead of being blind fans of the likes of floyd, who is about as exciting as watching paint dry.
i see it because both fighters are from a previous era. Barrera was a shot fighter when he met with pacman, barrera was shot after he lost to junior jones twice. Morales was not prime, but close to it, thats the reason he won the first bout. After that it was pacman that took it from him, that and draining to get down in weight.

He became a better fighter after that IMO.

because a 1 dimensional fighter just schooled barrera in their first match.

EM was past it for the 3rd fight, barrera not far behind in the 2nd fight. Besides that, full credit to pac.

Whether you think they were shot or not, you can't deny they fought for a reason. People wanted to see these rematches due to how good the previous ones were. it's that simple. i. How are you going to take shots at a guy for making rematches that fans wanted :s.

Looks like a catch 22 to me.

Prime Erik Morales does not lose to Zahir Raheem at any weight, that was before the Pacquiao rematch. He was done and dehyrated. Look at the weigh in pics of Morales-Pac 2 and 3. Barrera was pretty close to his prime in the first fight, the second fight not so much. I've never seen someone as good as De La Hoya look so helpless and it didn't have much to do with Pacquiao.

why not give raheem credit for the win? why is it more on morales losing than raheem winning?

& if u look at in in retrospect, manny pacquiao wasnt even on his full potential as a fighter in the 1st barrera fight either... he was a ****in one-dimensional slugger who had no use for his right hand... he was around 60 to 75% of what he is now during those period...

So don't say they were too late, you can say they were just **** out of luck...but don't say they were too late. Their timing was impeccable, they were just **** out of luck.

But this is the Floyd Mayweather Junior state of Boxing...You cherry pick, and you cherry pick with preciseness. That's the way to the top.
Pac can't fight at 130 that time. That's why he picked DD than Sotto/Guzman winner.

I think even if Manny were to some how box and defeat god some how this forum would find a way to discredit his win. "god overtrained and was weight drained, plus he's shot and past his prime at over 1 trillion years old"

Only the haters are saying they were shot....

Morales and Barrera were younger compared to most haters when they lost to Pacquiao.....

that is how good pacquiao is.....he turns Hofers to shot fighters

Pac got beat, by morrales in his prime!, something ATG dont do unless its to other ATG.
The only fighter to beat Hopkins in or around his prime is Roy. ATG beats ATG
The only fighters to ever beat SRL in or around his prime were ATGs.
Ali-Frazier. PRime ATG beats prime ATG

I like EM, but he is not an ATG, but he sure as hell beat Pacs ass.
