I think the question is who can beat a prime Roy not a 40yr old one. Calzaghe would have been ***** slapped and Roy would have been criticized for fighting someone not anywhere near his level.

              I do know B-Hop > RJJ
Hows that possible when Jones>B-hop 1993?

Rjj was more than any other fighter in his prime. The man went 50-0 (i know the record doesn't indicate that) before a loss and 50% of his fights at that point were world title fights. Never been done before that @ LHW. Prime Roy was something special. Crazy speed, power, footwork, elusiveness. He had it all. Nobody beats prime Roy p4p.

So, no real reason to vote Jones out of the top 20 p4p other than resume...

I better not see any pac in the top 30 mentions p4p, because all that dude has is resume

Resume speaks louder than "could have's, but didn't" when talking all time greatness.

Blame the era he fought in. Blame the quality of fighters he fought. But there are way more accomplished fighters in history than Jones.

That said, he certainly had the talent to be among the top 20. But without actually having the accomplishments compared to other all time greats who rank higher.....no dice.
