In his prime he could have hung with anyone who ever laced up the gloves, but it was his athleticism that made him a great fighter. He never had great fundementals but his innate athletic ability allowed him to get away with certain flaws. Once middle age crept up on him and slowed his reflexes, however, he was lucky to be one of the top 20 fighters in his division, let alone all time.Comment

HAHAHAHA...RJJ was one of the most gifted fighters as far as athleticsm no doubt but when his reflexes dulled he lacked the basic skills such as tucking your chin and keeping your hands up. His best wins were Toney and B-Hop, Pac's best wins were JMM,Barrera x2,Morales x2,DLH and Hatton. Pac's resume is better.Comment

Agreed that Pac has the stronger resume, Roy wasted his prime blowing out little knowns while Pac has taken on most of the best fighters in and around his weight class.HAHAHAHA...RJJ was one of the most gifted fighters as far as athleticsm no doubt but when his reflexes dulled he lacked the basic skills such as tucking your chin and keeping your hands up. Depends on how much you value the pre-WWII era boxers..... Some guys don't place much value on their accomplishments, while others tend to go overboard.....
I think Jones might sneak into the Post-WWII top 20, which is what he should be judged against.Comment
