    Jmm

JMM has a better chance of winning then people are giving him credit for he a is very active counter puncher and stays busy moving around not just standing there eating punches like delahoya hatton. I think he can do it he is coming of 2 highly contested matches against the pacman and knocked out his last 2 fighters he were better fighters than a wieght drained DLH and Ricky Punching Bag Hatton.

it doesn't automatically mean that if two great fighters will collide you'll expect a great fight, that's what i see in this fight between floyd and JMM it's about how their style will blend come fight night to give people an exciting fight, a counter puncher against a runner.. expect this to last till 12th rnd a boring fight i think.. but i go for marquez than the runner mayweather

          Mayweather vs. Marquez... Boring

This fight will appear like a B - movie compared to box office blockbusters that the Pacman fights constantly bring...

all of you people who once again criticize floyd and claim marquez will beat floyd, please stay on this forum the day after july 18, so i can rub it in your faces like i always do after floyd's fights. i'm writing down every name who has made those bold predictions, and i will love it. and i bet those same little parasites picking jmm to ko or beat floyd will be the same little parasites making posts and threads after jmm loses soundly, claiming floyd is a ***** and **** like that. jmm was old and small and pbf should be fighting ww, and all of that other ****, because that was people who cheer for "heart" do. i laugh at people like that. they degrade floyd's name so bad, because he isn't the classy, stand-up guy, they want him to be, then let that hate boil over into how he fights and who he fights, then come crunch time, he shuts them the **** up, and he will once again do this july 18th, i guarantee you all this. then he will go on and humiliate the living **** out of pac, shane, and cotto if they want it. margarito is too busy cheating to win, well, not now i guess. williams, i really feel, floyd would welocome a fight with him and berto. clottey could easily replace cotto if he beats him. ortiz just stays away. he ain't ready to fight nobody.

of a fight with Floyd. Man, as much as you hate Floyd, he will
not be an under dog in any of his fights. If Floyd can dispose
              of Marquez by KO
or make his corner throw in the towel, then
Manny is in trouble but if it goes to a decision and is competitive
I say Floyd will have a long night ahead of him with Pac. All in all
Pac is a tough guy and you can never sleep on him as I have
learned already but a Floyd Mayweather Jr on his A game will
              win both.
floyd will do his best to be very impressive in this fyt....logic? so manny-arum will not get the upperhand when they negotiate the super mega-fyt.

i hope for jmm to pull out a rabbit against floyd....i really do!
ok now, i bet 50,000 that floyd stops jmm.. what else can this fyt be but a mismatch very unlike the oscar-manny fyt.!!
the 50k is my consolation for not getting my wish/hope.

It is boxing not street fighting I suppose you would be calling Henry Armstrong or Pep or Wuss as well huh?

                  fights.
u are clearly talking about the oscar!!
freddie is not actually cherry picking for manny.
he did not chase the fyt with oscar, it was presented to them.
cant u realize the wizardry of freddie in detecting the flaws of manny's foes by carefully dissecting their fyt tapes and take "advantage" of their weaknesses?
who knew about oscar's inability to pull the trigger?
it was freddie's deep insights, gut feel if you want, that saw through oscar.

floyd backed-out of their supposed rematch for fear of a better oscar the second time around. admittedly floyd just got off the hook by the scalp of his hair in the first fyt.
ricky had something else in mind when offered the fyt with oscar.
freddie was too happy to commit his manny knowing something amiss with oscar.
now can u blame freddie for being such a "near genius" when it comes to analysing boxers' performance, even character?

freddie's folly is he can't hide a secret when he is excited for his manny...
how many times did he divulge his opponent's frailties, and about his ward's power and improvement in all departments saying it as it is and without any braggadoccio.
luckily not many listens to him and some even accused him of grandstanding.
i listen to his words and read some "insider's reports" about their training campand weigh things myself.
so far freddie is on the dot on those KO's for big manny's last 3 fyts.

and dont forget his analysis of erik, marco and jmm in preparing manny for these mexican greats. most of the tym manny was the underdog in his fyts, except of course barrera2 and erik 3. he got the odds with david but still a lot were skeptical because of the move in weight.

my point is: freddie and manny are not cherry picking their fyts....
otherwise the fans will know this , manny will not get all the accolades heaped on him today.
freddie roach is a great trainer/coach,....

But Juan Manuel Marquez became something else entirely on Saturday.

                    A tune-up fighter.

With the midday announcement of Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s return from a brief retirement and the evening’s concussive crowning of Manny Pacquiao as the IBO’s junior welterweight champion, the 35-year-old Mexican – a pro since 1993 – instantly became an afterthought.

Oh sure, he’ll face Mayweather in the “Pretty Boy’s” comeback bout somewhere between 140 and 147 pounds, but he’ll enter that fight as the last inconvenient obstacle to the event the sport is suddenly salivating over – a pound-for-pound summit between Mayweather and Pacquiao. [details]
it's a pity that JMM is being underestimated by most folks here..if JMM wins this fight with Money May, I think he'll be the sentimental fave against pac..im a big Pac fan..but i would say that the biggest challenge for Pac is not money May, it's JMM..i think Money will get overwhelmed by Pac coz "Money" just doesnt throw many combos unlike JMM..well that's just my opinion so floyd fans dont get mad..i would favor JMM on this one though he's the underdog..
