You're right, Mayweather dodged everybody who had a chance to beat him. He called Mosely out at 135 I believe, and Mosley didn't want to fight him then. He called out Cotto at 140 and his handlers said he wasn't ready, he called out Mosley again at 147 but he had to go on vacation with his family, then he fights DLH above his weight at 154. Not to mention he's fought 20 world champions, or former world champions. But you're right, he dodged everyone who had a chance to beat him.Comment

And the last two times Manny was in against an elite guy not coming right at him, three of six judges said he didn’t win.
and for the elite guy whos not coming right at him who kissed the canvass 4 times, yeah he's elite.Comment

Marquez will pull an upset...
By Lyle Fitzsimmons - Hes a reigning WBA and WBO world champion at lightweight.
Previously, hes held WBC hardware at 130 pounds and both WBA and IBF ***elry at 126 pounds.
But Juan Manuel Marquez became something else entirely on Saturday.
A tune-up fighter.
With the midday announcement of Floyd Mayweather Jr.s return from a brief retirement and the evenings concussive crowning of Manny Pacquiao as the IBOs junior welterweight champion, the 35-year-old Mexican a pro since 1993 instantly became an afterthought.
Oh sure, hell face Mayweather in the Pretty Boys comeback bout somewhere between 140 and 147 pounds, but hell enter that fight as the last inconvenient obstacle to the event the sport is suddenly salivating over a pound-for-pound summit between Mayweather and Pacquiao. [details]I think this time, i favored Marquez over Floyd...when a talk w/c involves about Floyd, it shows Marquez is the underdog...He's an underrated & only behind the shadows of Barerra & Morales...but he stole one win over Barerra to show his superiority over him...Marquez is a very strong fighter when he faced Pacquiao, a very skilled counter puncher & validates his greatness also when he knock out an elite champion Casamayor and the promising superstar Juan Diaz...Marquez is not only known as a counter puncher but can trade punches & fight toe-to-toe, which were notable in great fights w/ champions like Pacquiao, Barerra, Juan Diaz, Casamayor, etc...Marquez is also a part of the decades Fav 4, (Pacquiao, Marquez, Barerra & Morales) & 1 missing link to complete the list is a Marquez vs Morales...If most sees Marquez the underdog against Floyd, i think he will surprise the world & pull the upset...this one will seal him as an All Time Great and will settle the score w/ Pacquiao just only to seal their place among the All Time Greats...

Honestly, I think Mayweather will win, prolly decision, in a fight that removes alot of his luster. And on another point, when is Floyd gonna fight the best at 147? Dont dispute the facts, when he was the WW champ, he didnt choose to defend his belt against any of the top 5 contenders of the division. I believe in Mays abilities, but I dont want to see him against guys we know he can beat. I'm intrigued how mayweather might try to deal with a Williams, the gutsy power brawler Cotto, maybe trying to vanquish the HOF career of Sugar Shane, or maybe just crushing the dreams potential champions, like Berto. But he doesn't...Comment
