The marquez fight is a sham of a fight thats been insincerely designed as a great challenge. They will say things like he's the 2# p4p that gave pacquiao trouble & people will just believe it. For god sake they dont even have the exact catchweight # figured out yet.

I hope more honest & gutsy boxing writers call this most recent cherry picking maneuver by fraud jr for what it is, because this gullible goof certainly wont.
Come on Get Sum, Freddie Roach is the biggest cherry picker in the
business and he admitted that he gets advantages for Manny in his
    fights.

Manny is in trouble but if it goes to a decision and is competitive
I say Floyd will have a long night ahead of him with Pac. All in all
Pac is a tough guy and you can never sleep on him as I have
learned already but a Floyd Mayweather Jr on his A game will
      win both.
Good post. I can dig it.

name me a great fighter that floyd has beaten. The name of the boxer u give me, we will see how much that is worth.

Pacfan or not, you are a fool if you can't admit that JMM is elite.

you guys think Floyd is scared of Mosley......

            March 9, 2007

"I will help Oscar out and keep myself in shape as well," Mosley said. "I'm probably the closest thing fighting to Mayweather right now, so it will be a good advantage for Oscar to work with me. I will get some fight tapes and study Mayweather and his style. I will be able to imitate him and help Oscar dismantle Mayweather."
De La Hoya is already in camp and didn't want to discuss it, but the idea
was hatched a few months ago when Golden Boy matchmaker Eric Gomez, also one of De La Hoya's best friends, was trying to come up with a list of possible sparring partners.

"I had discussions with Oscar about who can help him because there really isn't anyone out there that fights like Floyd," Gomez said. "He's the best technician in the game and he has the combination of speed and technical skills. It kept popping into my mind that the closest to him was Shane. So, I told Oscar that I had come up with the best possible sparring partner."

"I will try not to make it competitive. I don't want it to be competitive," Mosley said. " This is for Oscar's benefit. I will not try to outshine Oscar because this is not about me. I'm going to do what I can do to imitate Mayweather. I will make it difficult for Oscar to hit me, like Mayweather will."

you guys really think Floyd was scared of Shane? Mosley tried to imitate
PBF to help Oscar and failed? For the full article go here:

The reason why Marquez looks so good against Pac was because few really have known that Pacman is a gambler...and you will really appreciate more of his talent if you have known that some fights against Barerra, Morales and lastly Marquez are investment fights...

Reading through this article made me realize that maybe Fitz is not in good terms with fellow boxingscene writer Ronnie.

Fitz joins Ronnie in my list from now on.

David Greisman should tutor these two.

I'll go ahead and call it like I called Casamayor and Diaz--JMM knocks out big mouth Mayweather. You keep underestimating him but what else does he have to do? He's the only fighter Pacquiao couldn't dominate. The only reason you aren't on his sack is because everyone else isn't. And that's because he's a professional a** kicker and not a 'pretty boy' or a 'golden boy'. Those guys' pay-per-view numbers are high for the same reasons Brittney and Jerry Springer are rich--the general public wants a spectacle. So, JMM will knock out 'pretty boy', then he'll rematch Pacquiao and when 100 million people who know nothing about boxing read about it on AOL and 10 million boxing fans suddenly decide JMM is great then maybe, just maybe he will start to get some respect--and some pay-per-view buys. Until then it saddens me that the so called 'hard-core' boxing fans only want to give a guy respect when his pay-per-view numbers are high.
