Two, he has faced nothing but elite opposition since Taylor and has earned his right to fight whomever he wants. And three Dawson has been tied up with Tarver for quite some time now.

No need to criticize and/or demand anything from a 44 year old legend who has more than proved himself over his 20+ year career.

Sure, maybe dawson beats hopkins in a close fight now at his age. So what? Maybe he would maybe he wouldn't. Let bernard hopkins decide what he wants to do with his final fight of his career, the man has earned that right.
    100% agree.

Hopkins is 44 and on the way out looking for one more fight, why can't he pick who he wants ?

Dawson would probably beat Bernard but he wouldn't look good doing it.

Why would B-hop fight Dawson at this stage of his career??? Even Dawson knows the fight is unrealistic and hasnt really call out B-hop, The fight is all wrong for Hopkins and it would be Joe Calzaghe all over again for him.

He needs a slow-pace fighter to make him look good even if he loses and i think Froch fits the bill just like Pavlik did, Thats why i said he should have offer Adamek a better deal instead of the low/crazy offer he put on Adamek's table.

As much as I like froch, hokins would beat him up for 12 rounds. It's a bad style match-up for froch. the best thing he can do it stay away from B-hop. Respect to hopkins though, if he keeps beating the guys who beat taylor, then it doesn't make his defeat to taylor look so bad.

It also annoys me when peole say taylor beat hopkins TWICE. No he never, one was a draw and the other one was one of the most boring fights in the history of the sport!

Not really but that would be a good matchup. They're pretty much at the same level.

Lol, Hopkins was screwed against Taylor so now he's targeting everybody who have knocked Taylor out instead A true excecutioner.

I agree he has faced the best, ever since he was robbed by Taylor. Beating the guys that beat Taylor is just another point to make.

Hopkins is probably going to retire, but if there is only one last bout, Hopkis-Froch is intresting

Whats itching hopkins the most is froch being undefeated!!! He wants to put that (1) in the lost column. Maybe he"ll take the calzaghe lost out on him..

You make Dawson sound like the second coming of Muhammad Ali. Seriously man, the guy was gifted a decision against Glen Johnson, he's not that good.

                      I don't give a **** about fighters age,color...
                      I mean,he's number 3 P4P,even N 2,according to some sites and magazines.
So he has to fight the bests, and the bests aren't Froch or Pavlik at 170(WTF),or even Adamek. But Dawson(who schooled Adamek) or why not Kessler who is very competitive.
Froch stopped Taylor, but Taylor exposed him.
Bernard should fight Dawson or Taylor(who beat him twice).
Bernard never proved that he was able to beat Taylor.

I like Froch,(and Kelly too),and seeing these green warriors exposed by a skillfull, crafty and very experienced fighter doesn't interest me.It looks like Child abuses.lol.It doesn't really make sense.

I talk honnestly, even if,I admit that,I dislike Hopkins. He's a great fighter, but the "never let a....." philosofy, and his crew comments,"Pacquiao avoids black fighters" are too much for me.
