The problem is that People saying he can ONLY fight Welterweights for it to be a legitimate fight and win, when he himself is not really a welterweight compared to the rest of the welterweights...
People say all he has to fight a real WW and nobody else..!!!
thats what make floyd fans feel like you guys are bing hypocritical....

    and plus..

Floyd has already become lineal WW champion of the world.

At the end of the day I do not require Mayweather to stay in 1 division and fight every up and comer their is ....Because he has already did that at 130.
when he stayed there for 27 fights.

    As of Right Now.
I just want to see Mayweather fight Big Names reguardless the weight class.
from 140-160 i just dont care about him being in 1 division.

I just want him to enhance his legacy by making history.

History would be if he went and got himself a middleweight title
History would be if he went and became a lineal champion @ 154
History would be if he went and became a lineal champion @ 140

Those are the kind of fights i want to see him in.

Because at the end of the day every division has a Joshua Clottey and a Miguel Cotto. But every division does not have a Juan Manuel Marquez, or a Manny Pacquiao.

and I want to see Mayweather fights with proven great fighters reguardless the weightclass.
Real fight fans want to see Floyd fight the best fighters in whatever weight class he campaigns in, so your poll is unanswerable.

      Fine

Below is the prototypical example of overselling:

You talk as Mayweather will have a HUGE weight advantage. He will have like 5 pounds weight advantage; this will be cancelled out by his inactivity

Why not make the fight at 140 then?

Did you not see Floyd interview. When a boxer comes off a long layoff making a low weight drains the boxer. This happened to Kostya against Hatton. He could make 140, but there is a risk body will react badly to it

              JMM seems happy at 143/144

Again are you acting ****** or is that just you

This fight is at catch-weight. JMM seems happy at 143/144 weight. This is first fight back and this fight leads to the Pacman fight which is the biggest fight in this sport

Would you consider Floyd fighting Quintana a risky or good tune-up fight if they both fight at 147? Does Marquez pose a threat to Floyd truthfully if they fight at 144-145? How are you so sure after not only a long layoff from Boxing, but an even longer layoff from 140lbs that Floyd can cut the weight with no problems? If he's such a smaller "WW", why not fight at 140?
