forget the fight was at 147 where Hatton is ****.

the job cortez done takes away any shine for mayweather he was so biased it make Jay Nady seem competent.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. gets full credit.

Take this into consideration: Freddie Roach said Ricky Hatton is past his best now because of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

      End.

I agree, Hatton would have looked like **** at 140...being as how he'd weigh the same. Anyway, I do agree, Cortez did a bad job but please understand, Cortez was saving Hatton's life NOT Mayweather's

Your not understanding Cortez took away any hope for a Hatton with with his shenanigans.

The only difference for Hatton against Floyd was that both didn't have to drain themselves for a 140/JrWW bout
. Come fight time, where is Hatton at for his JrWW bouts? 149 pounds+; Same weight as Floyd for his WW bouts.

Hatton didn't make the same mistake he made when fighting Collazo in coming in at 158. He said even before the fight that he would come in at his normal fight-time weight for JrWW because he doesn't want to tire again.

The only leverage you have is to say that if the fight was at 140 at the time the fight happened, making weight for the scales could have taken something out of Floyd. However, Hatton had his chance to fight Floyd at 140 before and he didn't.

Hatton's lucky he never fought Floyd at 140. Floyd was better there and then.

I do understand that...I've said from the begining, Cortez did a bad job but if you've watched the fight like I have, you'll see that Cortez was saving Hatton from anymore punishment

One thing that I think noone is really acknowledging is that guys like Floyd and Roy pretty much just fight at there walking around weight, or within 5 pounds of it. They are andin Roys case were so good that they don't cut weight so they can fight smaller guys. Floyd walks around at like 147. He fights at 140 and 147. Pac walks around at 147 but up until his last 2 fights he would fight at 130. Now after spanking De la hoya, he is realizing he doesn't have to cut 15 pounds of water to fight a smaller man. Now he can just train hard, come in around 140 and fight at his natural in shape weight, because he is good enough.

Now back to the question, If Pac beats Hatton in similar fashion as Floyd he should get the same credit. If he beats him in 3 rounds then he should get more credit. Butttttttttttttttt, he could beat hatton in 1 round and still get outboxed by floyd for 12 when they fight. Just like How Duran goes the distance with Hagler, gets Killed by Hearns in 2 rounds, and then Hearns get KOd by Hagler. As you all know Styles make fights.

Pac is very aggressive, and can probably beat alot of people worse than Floyd can. But at the same time I think Floyd can beat everyone where as I think Pac can loose to some. Ex. JMM, Morales.

Floyds style is not to loose, not to get hit. Pac style is to kill them or die trying. The problem with that is sometimes you die.

lol i dont know i guess both get the same amount of credit. i put it like this floyd mayweather vs ricky hatton was a bout pitting the lineal junior welterweight champion vs the reigning p4p and lineal welterweight champion of the world both undefeated and both in the prime of their careers. even tho hatton came up short in his quest to become 147pd champ of world and p4p king he still was the lineal junior welterweight champ and still is one of boxing bigger draws. so now if manny paquiao defeats hatton it would hand hattons first loss at the junior welterweight division and end a 4 year championship run that dates back to the stoppage of tszyu in 2005. i guess we will find out may 2nd to see if pac-man gets past the hitman so we could compare performances.

I think PACMAN should deserves a big credit than Mayweather...

                    1. NOW HITMAN got Mayweather SR. as his Coach/trainer
                    2. Hitman is more defense and watchful because he didn't want to be like what Mayweather JR. did.
