So let me get this straight:
    • If Pacquaio beats Hatton

Then he ****s on floyds win over hatton.

Although I don’t see Pacquaio doing Dancing with the stars right now before he fights Hatton... for 4 weeks out of his 8 weeks of training
    • But If Hatton beats pacquaio

Then he still can’t beat Floyd...and doesn’t deserve a rematch...?

LMAO...Please explain this line of thinking?

I thought hatton looked good against paulie. Is that not the case? He was the first to stop him

          PAC gets all the credit.

PAC will fight a bigger opponent in Hatton. In the other hand, THE WHOLE WORLD KNEW FLOYD WAS GOING TO BEAT HATTON... (well, except for the pathetic die-hard Hatton fans). That is what pisses me off about PBF, Mosley and Cotto. A win agaisnt Hatton doesn't proove shiet and it's not a respectable win over the smaller and puny 140 pounder. They only want to fight hatton because of the Brittish Hyped and huge fan base.

For any WelterWeight that seeks a fight with Hatton... it's all about money, not respect. PAC is coming from far behind in weight. If PAC wins, I will respect that.

Well anyone should deserves a rematch in case... it's up to the promoter and the team side...

But I think if Hatton will win over PACMAN... No question to be on REMATCH against Floyd but the question there, Who coud be his Coach/Trainer?

Floyd fought him as an unbeaten fighter that is a huge difference in Rickys mindset from what it will be now , people will see the leftovers of that mindset when Pac starts to hit and not be hit .

I see these threads as just a try at taking anything they can away from Floyd , they all said Floyd could not stop Hatton , he owned him and then stopped him , and he was the first to do it ,,, and at Rickys best fight weight !!!!
No, I didn't contradict myself because the question is, "Who gets more credit for a win over Hatton, Floyd or Pac?" I replied saying more people will give Pac his dues for beating Hatton at 140, than Floyd for beating him at 147.

I'm well aware that on fight night, both Floyd and Hatton weigh in essentially as JWW's. But a lot of people it seems, fail to understand this. So therefore, believing that Hatton isn't the same fighter at 147 as he is at 140, MOST people will give Pac more credit. Which isn't necessarily my point of view, it's just what I think most people will say after the fight.

I voted Floyd but I'm actually leaning towards a 50/50 split.

See when Floyd did it, it was 2 undefeated fighters facing off. The best Welterweight vs The Best Light Welterweight. P4p King vs the Rising Star. America's Best vs Britain's Best. Prime vs Prime.

Floyd was the bigger man and Hatton was the smaller man. But at the same time you could make the argument that Floyd was naturally smaller being a 5 weight champion and Hatton never fighting below 140. Either case they were almost equal in size. I think this fight was more hype than anything. Cuz it was clear that Floyd was Superior.

See now with Manny, even tho he's the P4p best, All this weight Jumping is gonna catch up IMO. Hatton is MUCH bigger Naturally than Manny. Even tho Manny is Overall better, I think this fight is 50/50

It being a 50/50 fight would give Manny all the more credit if he can win. And probly the biggest win of his career if he can do it more impressive than Floyd. I believe Hatton has greatly improved since he made Sr his trainer tho. (Hatton is the only British fighter I can say I like...) I give Hatton a good chance of winning.

So when it comes down to it. The fight with Floyd was more about hype IMO while the fight wit Manny will be more about Odds.

El Dominicano is right. If you watch the fight closely and look at the actual shots that are landing Floyd was ****ing Hatton up on the inside. It's not like Hatton was more effective when he was ''fighting his fight'' he was still getting his ass kicked.

The fight showed that Mayweather is of a different cut to Hatton. Pacquiao will probably show this too. The thing with boxing and any other sport diet is vital. Most fighters at the top level watch what they eat and how much they walk around. Hatton lives the typical pub life eventually that **** will come back to bite you in the ring. Though even if he lived the right life I just don't think he had the ability to fight with Floyd.
