    Absolutely.

His weight is more inline with Light Welterweights than it is with Welterweights.

If Floyd were to follow the flock, he would be fighting at 140lb, and rehydrate back up to 147-148, which is what almost all Light Welterweights weigh on fight night.

Just because he chooses to fight at Welterweight, does not mean it's "natural" for him.

The poll question is who gets more credit. I said Pacquiao does. The outcome of the fight is assumed in the question.
Exactly, the poll question invites people to give their opinion of who gets more credit if Pac wins. Yet, you are saying those who give the opinion that Floyd should get more are "pathetic".

I can't form a decisive opinion on a set of permutations and variables that I haven't seen play out. So I personally didn't vote. My final opinion will be based on how the fight plays out. And how the fight plays out depends on a variety of factors. Pac, looking at it speculatively, could win the fight in different ways, some of those ways are more impressive than others.

How about canning the "pathetic" **** and stop making everything a polemic or a war? If El Dominicano or anyone else wants to offer a perspective that goes against the consensus, let 'em.

Add to that, all the scale jumping Pac has done over the years starting at 106.

And not to mention all the Floyd haters who'll no doubt be bigging up Pac to no end.
Floyd fought him at his best weight 151 !!! he will weigh the same fighting Pac , so why even mention the words Pac will fight him at his best weight when you acknowledge that Floyds fight was really fought as JWWs you've just totally contradicted yourself on weight .

Floyd fought him as an unbeaten fighter that is a huge difference in Rickys mindset from what it will be now , people will see the leftovers of that mindset when Pac starts to hit and not be hit .

I see these threads as just a try at taking anything they can away from Floyd , they all said Floyd could not stop Hatton , he owned him and then stopped him , and he was the first to do it ,,, and at Rickys best fight weight !!!!

Ricky Hatton could've done better against Floyd Mayweather if he'd display better defense, also Ricky Hatton could've learned from that lost and from his new trainer. Plus, Ricky Hatton is in his natural weight of 140. Mayweather is a bigger dude and Hatton is small for the 147 weight class.

That's fine. I interpreted the topic as "assuming Pac beats Hatton, is it a better win than Floyd's?", but I see what you are saying.

Pacquiao gets props for beating Hatton in his own weight class ( though I believe Floyd would have schooled Hatton at 140lbs).

Mayweather takes it though as he whooped on Hatton whilst he was undefeated. Hatton psyche is likely damaged somewhat, I don't think he is the same fighter as he was before the Mayweather fight. His performance against Maliginii doesn't fool me.

More like Cortez didn't allow Mayweather to beat up Hatton the inside. Seriously, Floyd won every exchange...
