7 miles is like what 11km?

most boxers do 10 km, so he's doing a tiny bit more.

20 km is just ridiculous for a boxer to be doing.
How do boxers prevent overtraining? Some of the things boxers do 7 miles a day plus hard work in the gym. Sound like an easy way to overtrain and get alot of injuries from.

either way it doesn't matter because roadwork is not important. Just like strength increase and muscle mass increase, STAMINA increase comes from SHOCKING your system. Kostya Tszyu was a big exponent of the kettlebell weight system to shock your body, he trained all the time with them and so did many others.
A lot of progressive UFC guys, some of the top champions that have the best stamina like rich franklin and sean sherk don't run much long distance road work, they do different and in my opinion more effective 'shock' regimens of nonstop variagated cardio work like running a 75% incline treadmill on fast for a minute, then immediately lifting a couple weight lifting plates over your head for another minute or two then jump into something else etc...this builds true stamina. I hate and usually don't watch UFC, but this workout is no joke: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G61d0feaIg

If im a fat ass who sits at a desk all day as you say, but I still can run 5 miles a day then Williams being a pro boxer and doing 7 a day aint so fucking impressive is it.
you ****in imbecile which part didn't you understand? You run 5 miles a day then rest for the rest of the day on your ass in your cozy office. Boxers run 5-7 a day and then physically train for another 8-12 hours for the rest of that day. Do you see the difference, or are you a complete ******?

              Exactly!!

It's part of his job to run. So why is it so impressive to you??!!

Does it annoy you that you cant suck his **** when hes running so you wish he did less?

wow mate you are a complete moron..you know very little about boxing don't ya? road work is only a tiny almost insignificant part of a boxer's daily regimen (insignificant because many boxers don't even run and still are successful) and yet they still do more road work than you who claims to be such a running god. you're the complete tit and idiot.

Dude, I know you're not gay...I was just razzin' you for the pics...its no fun if we cant cap on each other from time to time...no hard feelings.
                    I offer you a truce.

As for running, I know exactly what you mean. Thats why I switch it up a lot. For cardio I'll play tennis (gay), swim at the local pool (semi gay, though really gay if you wear a speedo), jump rope (only gay if its double dutch), work the heavy bag(totally UNgay) and 6 3 minute rounds of burpees (those kick my ****ing ass) and then eventually I'll go run sprints one day and 5 miles the next. But too much running my knees feel like ****ing gello.

I'm almost positive plenty of boxers lie about how many miles they run a day...if they weren't I wanna know why guys are getting tired around round 8 or 9. 1 or 2 guys in my gym run twice a week and can go 6-7 rounds.

And most of them mean slow jogging when they say run.
