So Oscar was dehydrated because Freddy said so........... just by looking at him?
What about the fact that Oscar's own trainerS Dundee ,Nacho, and his nutritionist who was there the whole time keeping on track with Oscar , admitted that Oscar was in great shape, no excuses.

What about the fact that Pac beat him with skills and his style, that he didn't just walked through Oscar.
Tell me, what could have a non-"dehydrated" Oscar done different gainst Pac that night.

How many times I will have to say this ****. Oscar wasnt Weight drained, he loss to much mass.

He was 141 a month before the fight, he just lost to much muscle to make, the weight. he should of stay at 157 throughout camp, and then get down to 150 with 3 or 4 days to go, make the weight and then go back to 156-158.

For the last time, he wasnt weight drain, he lost too much muscle mass and he paid the price for it!!!!

This is what this discussion is all about:

          v.intr.
To make an excuse for oneself. (your wrong bets)

          v.tr.
To make an excuse for (another- dela Hoya).

          = definition of ALIBI.

These kinds of peeps don`t even deserve to talk about Sports.

          Definition of Sport:

One known for the manner of one's acceptance of rules, especially of a game, or of a difficult situation: a poor sport.

Tarver had ballooned in weight for a film just before the fight with Hopkins and looked lack-lustre in their fight; and hasn't looked good again in his subsequent fights. A good win, but not nearly as good in reality as it looks on paper.

That's just a small sample of what I was able to find in 5 minutes by searching "Tarver drained" and "Toney drained".

Pac won fair and square. People tend to forget that Pac jump virtually 2 weight division, never been there before and with just one fight at 135 just to fight Oscar. He also had this all advantages like the bigger, taller man, long reach advantage, one punch ko, all around better skills, been with the bigger puncher and so on. Thats why almost nobody give him a chance including those die hard pac fans. His only chances of winning is to use his speed (which can be neutralize anytime with just one left hook I believe but did not manage to land meaningfully) and he did it. Oscar either weight drained or not will still lost to Pac because of the speed. Case closed!

No one is saying the result would have been any different. Just that it was a pretty easy victory, that made Pac look good because DLH was completely dehydrated and weight drained. Not only that but was past prime, had been performing badly in prior fights and was 35. Had DLH been younger, closer to his prime, hydrated and comfortable at the weight - it would have been a totally different fight that Manny still could have won - on points, and it would not have been that easy and he would not have looked as good doing it.

Pac for virtually jumping 2 divisions to fight Oscar were most people thought it was suicide on Pac's part being far the smaller man. Those were more than enough to balance the weight drained issue then you add those other Oscar's advantages and status. The fight was fair enough and Pac will still look good even in the ugly fight just because beating the man by far bigger than yours will look spectacular for most casual fans. Its more like David vs Goliath.
