I dont give a ****, Nobody gave Pac a chance and he deliver. It was DLHs fault to be weak in the ring.
And he wasnt weight drain, he just lost to much mass, in traning, he was 141 with a month to go . thats not healthy. he should of stay at 155 through out traning and then get down to 147 with 3 or 4 days to go and then rehydraite to 160.
Again he wasnt weight drain, he just lost to much mass like a idiot.
Then I say the same thing: Pacquiao was well on his way to becoming a superstar whether he fought the three or not. Now if that don`t make sense to you, you just don`t want to be proven wrong. It`s your ego at work.
Differences:
Oscar was an Olympic Gold Medalist.
Oscar had a huge contract signed with HBO.
Oscar had the looks and the persona.
Oscar was a highly touted prospect, who everyone kept an eye on starting from his first professional bout.
Manny was still fighting primarily in the Phillipines before he fought Barrera. Enough said.
Now I'm not saying Manny never would of became a superstar if he hadn't fought Barrera or Morales, but he definitely had to work for it, and they were the ones to give him his shot. Where as De La Hoya had the road practically paved for him from the get-go.

Manny Pacquiao is famous:
-even without participating in amateur or Olympics, aside from being flag bearer in the last one.
-had huge contracts with popular brands even before his first bout in the States against Lucero. He was already famous in Asia.
-is famous as an actor and artist, even without the looks and persona.
-was and still is a highly touted prospect since age 17, everyone followed his fights on TV since that age.
Can you count the fights Pac made abroad before he fought Barrera? Or were you just assuming?
Now you said Nuff Said, so.. STFU ?? lol. Even your word is of no value.
Sure Oscar wasnt the same DLH from the past but its funny when this fight was signed months ago at a catch weight of 147, no one was saying,
"Oh ****, thats gonna be too low for DLH he's gonna be weight drained or dehydrated coming in". Instead they STILL gave the benefit to DLH.
Pac executed the perfect game plan, took DLH jab away, including his hook, stick and move, in and out, side to side. You mean to tell me the old come forward relentless and careless Pac of the past could of beat that same DLH without the skills and strategy the new Pac had that night. HELL NO.
Give credit where its due, Pac executed the perfect game plan and strategy to make Oscar look like flat. Oscar should of been smarter and know he doesnt have it anymore. END OF DISCUSSION.
De La Hoya was weight drained indeed but that's all his own doing. Before the fight I was thinking Oscar has a 70% chance of winning mainly because of the size advantage. 30% was for the possibility that he would be weight drained and when I saw the results of the weigh in. I knew Oscar was in trouble. He came in at 145 and that was not good news for him. He overtrained and Pacquiao took advantage of it. I don't think Manny's win over Oscar should be discredited because its the win on the record that matters. It doesn't say the factors that affected the fight.
Manny gets full credit for beating weight a drained Oscar with I.V. marks on his arm.
But Hopkins gets 0 credit for beating Tarver who wasn't as severely drained, and Roy Jones gets 0 credit for beating James Toney who wasn't as severely drained.
