So aspects people assumed would be a factor in the fight PRIOR to it, had a greater effect on the outcome of the fight then DLH's dehydrated, weight drained and past prime state IN the ring?
Its not about people's assumptions before the fight. It's what actually happened in the ring that effects the outcome.Last edited by - JCHING -; 04-13-2009, 05:16 AM.Comment

Midget Pac 5'6"1/2 in height plus zero fight in 140, 147 and one fight 135 =Taller Oscar 5'10"1/2 weight drained but 4 in taller and longer reach, killer left hook, been with bigger puncher, better skills and so on looks fair to me. The only difference speed kills baby.So aspects people assumed would be a factor in the fight PRIOR to it, had a greater effect on the outcome of the fight then DLH's dehydrated, weight drained and past prime state IN the ring?

DLH weighed less than Pac on the night, was dehydrated and so was physically and mentally weaker and could not throw his punches with any menace and could barely move after the first 3 rounds, was old and past prime, his ability to use his skills and power effectively were diminished.Midget Pac 5'6"1/2 in height plus zero fight in 140, 147 and one fight 135 =Taller Oscar 5'10"1/2 weight drained but 4 in taller and longer reach, killer left hook, been with bigger puncher, better skills and so on looks fair to me. The DLH you described was a DLH of old, and not the one we saw in the ring against Pac - with the exception of height and reach advantages, but what good are they when you can't do s**t due to the condition you are in.
Speed would have been a factor no matter what, but would the fight have gone the way it had against a better DLH? No. Thats what people are trying to make clear and what is essentially the truth.Comment

Thats why they made this fight as they both balance the equation. Midget vs Giant past prime HOF = evenDLH weighed less than Pac on the night, was dehydrated and so was physically and mentally weaker and could not throw his punches with any menace and could barely move after the first 3 rounds, was old and past prime, his ability to use his skills and power effectively were diminished.

I NOTICED THAT IN 24/7 TOO. I WAS LIKE WOW...FINALLY ADMITTED IT. THEN I REALIZED THAT ROACH AND THEM NEVER TRIED TO DISCREDIT HIM BEING DRAINED. IT WAS OSCAR'S OWN CAMP THAT WAS DOING THE DISCREDITING. THEY DID A TERRIBLE JOB AND I THINK WERE TRYING TO COVER IT UP!

How many times I will have to say this ****. Oscar wasnt Weight drained, he loss to much mass.
He was 141 a month before the fight, he just lost to much muscle to make, the weight. he should of stay at 157 throughout camp, and then get down to 150 with 3 or 4 days to go, make the weight and then go back to 156-158.
For the last time, he wasnt weight drain, he lost too much muscle mass and he paid the price for it!!!!
It's the same thing.
Your muscles is where the hydration exists in your body. Muscle is about 75% water. Fat has very little water...probably about 10%.
So, when you lose a lot of muscle, you lose a lot of liquid.Comment

Of course,
The Miniature Pinoys were saying "Oscar's trainier said Oscar was fine". Well, OF COURSE Oscar's trainer would say that. Do you think he would say "Oscar lost because I mismanaged his weight and we had a ****ty camp".
Every objective person said Oscar was weight drained. Including Oscar's boyfriend, Shane.
I stand by my statement. Oscar would have lost to any top LW, JWW or WW that night. In fact, Holt would have knocked DLH out.Comment
