If Pac defeats Hatton, then it's Pac-man

until then, it's still Floyd Mayweather

There is a difference between unanimity and undisputed.

I say it's still Pacquiao; he worked hard for the P4P status.

ok, whatever makes you feel like you know more...but still Pacquiao is the #1 P4P fighter, Floyd Jr may unretire but sorry the P4P#1 throne is not available at the moment... he may fall in line after Mosley or next to Ivan Calderon if Darchinyan would allow it(coz Vic is at #10 and he'd drop off the list if you'd forcefully add PBF back in), If Pac loses to Hatton...JMM will become P4P#1.....then we can make this same conversation again on a different thread title.

No, sir. You are being immature.

It's not "what makes me feel I know more". It is fact. You belittle yourself with that attitude. I'm trying to share information with you....why close your mind?

Floyd had been P4P #1 for approximately three years. There were always a small minority of writers who voted Pac #1. It was not unanimous, but PBF's #1 standing was not "in dispute".

And I CLEARLY said that the mythical p4p crown has to be earned IN THE RING. Floyd hasn't fought in nearly 2 years, ahile Pac and JMM have been knocking kniccas out.

It is similar to when USC is number 1 in BCS, but Oklahoma has a few first place votes.

He already KO'ed Pacquiao's next opponent and beat Pacquiaos' previous opponent in his actual weight.

In what way has he proven this? he hasn't even fight Hatton yet. He couldn't even fight DLH at 154. He couldn't even get past JMM decisevly. Mayweather is already the favorite against Pacman and the fight is nowhere near.

To all the Pac supporters (and I am one) who keep saying "pac destroyed DLH, and PBF got a split decision", be careful.

There is a very good chance that PBF will fight JMM. Will you be prepared to apply that same argument to JMM as the common opponent?
