I dont see any way Marquez could benifit by taking this fight.

By anywhere he must mean either Mexico, Texas or some other country 500,000 miles away...unless Valero gets licensed in the U.S

Yeah really, he says Valero will fight Marquez anywhere "even Mexico" as if Valero has balls and is fearless. He don't have much of a choice.

Forget all this "he beat up (insert fighter here) during sparring" **** I keep hearing.

Sparring and fight night are as different as night and day.
Exactly, JMM would let this guy throw his combos and then tap him into counterland all night. Valero has the goods but is underdeveloped- with the way he keeps his head up, JMM would toast him by rd 6

Marquez def. doesnt need this fight, but there is no denying that it is dangerous as ***. Either way I would love to see this fight. I mean honestly beating Casamayor (1st time ko), Juan Diaz (1st time KO), then beat Valero JMM would outdo anything Pacman has done.

Ummm...did you miss the fact that he fought in Texas? Last time I checked Texas is part of the U.S. Was there a terretorial war between Mexico and the U.S that I missed? I think not....

Anyway, yeah Valero still needs to try and get licensed in other states as well.

So u want valero a 135 pounder, who is trying hard as hell to establish himself as one of the best lightweights to get a crack at the big time, to fight a 130 pounder who is even more unknown & who has a even lower Q rating than valero???

Kinda defeats the purpose dont ya think. Valero needs resume building fights like casamayor, baby bull, katsidis, or even a fraud like amir khan. Name fights from here on out now for valero. He cant go back to fighting japs & Latin tomato cans.
