  • Pacman made it look like dela hoya was dehydrated due to his style of boxing. Pac was just to quick and dela hoya could not land a big shot and he gets irritated so he keeps going forward at pacman and get annahilated to the face. that gave him chubby cheeks and made him looks like he gained more weights. when i look at the fight from the beginning up to 5th round dela hoya did not look like he was dehydrated at all. its was all of the punches that was accumulated from his head that he starts to give in.

I only have one question for all of you guys. WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR BODY WHEN YOU GET PUNCH? REALLY;;;;; HEAD AND BODY COULD ONLY TAKE SO MUCH PUNCH AND I DONT CARE WHO AND THATS THE REALLITY PEOPLE.

    • lol love how all the boxingscene articles quote fighters to make what they've said seem miles worse. i've watched many interviews then went on boxingscene to see that the fighers have been quoted to make it look like there having a right go

You get deluded fans of every top boxer, it's not just Pac's. And some Pac fans are among the best posters on here. No need to generalise like that.

Also, deluded fans (I don't like the term nuthuggers) are no worse than haters - both are cut from the same cloth.

you're new, stay longer, you'll see a lot worse nuthugging other than pac's. and i didn't see any nuthuggin in his post. that was an opinion, you got yours, everyone's got them. and if we really want to follow opinions that matter, like nacho, dundee and oscar himself, you won't hear any of them talk about the weight drained thing. oscar is past prime, that's a given though.

            • Man. At first it was hilarious letting Oscar have it, but now that a tool like Ricky Hatton is downplaying him you gotta feel for old fishnets.

I agree with you being a pacman pan but i disagree that im a nuthuggers. I was just basically giving my output opinion on this article not against you and that kind of prove me that you are the nuthugger and not me.
2 great fighters fought that night and the better fighter won that fight and that was pacman so Hatton basically has no right to say that pacman dont deserve full credit on the fight that he won fare and square. If Hatton would have been the fighter that fought dela hoya that night, would it came out with the same outcome? im not sure cause hatton style of boxing and speed is completely different to pacman. And if you were in dela hoya shoes getting so much hit on the head wouldn't you think that your feet would start shaking and make you look weak. So hatton has no right to say what he said on this article.

You're confusing giving someone the props they deserve, which I do, with not getting carried away by pretending their opponent was better on the night than he actually was, which I don't.

ok Dave, copy. and u are perfectly ryt that both warriors will come with good game plans come fyt nyt and get surprised with each other. i believe that freddie will have a 2nd game plan for contingency= fall back position. as for mayweather?....believe him when he says he's got 5 battle plans (well, he should).....

                    • After the post fight interview of the PAC-ODLH Fight, Hatton was interviewed backstage and he was in shockinglly awe of Pac with matching tears for the beatdown he gave his friend/promoter Oscar in that fight. Downplaying him now is a sign of false sense of security and maybe... FEAR!
