I haven't read every post so I don't know if this has been said already but imo I don't think 1 has much to do with the other. I'm not a fan of either fighter but the truth is Cotto lost that fight all on his own. Why?

    - He just fought the wrong fight.

    - Honestly I have never seen cotto run like that in any fight.

    - People were saying that cotto could/would never fight like floyd cause hes a real fighter but that had to be the best floyd impersanation I ever saw. He was running from round 1 and he basically gassed himself out which is understandable when you try to fight in a style you are not use to in the biggest fight of your life.

    - Did the "loaded wraps" make cotto sit on the ropes and take uppercuts from one of the slowest handed boxers in the business. I dont think so.

Did margarito cheat iN the cotto fight? Maybe but I think he would of won that fight on that night with or without loaded wraps cause cotto lost that fight all on his own.

Still the same, he got beaten to a bloody pulp. There's no proof he used it against Cotto.

Personally I believe Margarito went into that fight with loaded gloves. It's naive to think the Mosley fight was his first time doing this. Even the gauze that was confiscated had dried up blood on it. However, it can never be proven so I'm content to let it go as a win for Margarito although I have serious doubts that he won clean. Some will say that the commision approved the wraps but there is a strong possibilty that they missed it just the inspectors in LA did.

If in fact Marg DID have his gloves loaded in that fight too, that could of definitely had something to do with how well he took the punishment
          Sure could have

of course theres no proof but u got 2 look into the fight and have an opinion.both marg and mosley landed about 250 shots on cotto, what was the diffrence between the 2 for cottos face to be so swollen. officially cotto lost but in my opinion marg cheated to beat cotto.

Either it's obvious he loaded up on the biggest night of his LIFE!..where he was an underdog (2:1) and part of history with the whole Mexico-Puerto Rico rivalry..and figured after his previous loss vs Paul Williams..this was truly his last shot to get to the BIG STAGE.....kinda like a "It's NOW or NEVER" and how better than loading up to beat the VERY BEST in the Division in a DRAMATIC manner..as he did..

              OR!!..

He tried it for the first time against Mosley..where he was an obvious favorite (4:1)..thanks to how Shane looked previously vs Mayorga..and wanted to make a statement by being the first to actually KO him!..which is very probable as well..because Margarito isn't that powerful with his shots..and he figured wit a lil help he'll definitely seal a fight with DLH by KO'ing his stablemate whom has never been KO'd..and make a damn bold statement that way...

my opinion can change once they have a rematch , they have to have one just to prove what really happened that night.

I don't know how to view it now to tell you the truth, I cant give marg full credit on the fact he might have had loaded glove vs cotto but we will never be sure.. so yeah kind of hard to make a decision, and im not one to make a decision without any proof, so I give marg some credit but not the full credit he would deserve if he wern't caught with loaded gloves.
