Haha that's funny. Cotto has been in the ring with Mosley, who hits harder than Margarito. Mosley just doesn't load his gloves so the punches don't do as much damage. There's no proof, but in the court of public opinion, most believe he cheated against Cotto.

I might be WAY off base with this, but would there be any reason for Margarito keeping the handwraps on, long after the Cotto fight into THIS interview rather than immediately cutting them off and trashing them as boxers normally do?....

i think the cheating was out of order but iv been thinking, plaster by its nature when it gets bashed it just crumbles its not the hardest matarial certainly not as hard as the bones in you hand, im struggling to see what great advantage it would give him i think its more to protect margs hands than cause damage ?

Regardless it was illegal.
And if it would've 'crumbled' and wouldn't have benefitted Marg, why would they try to get away with using it against shane?
