  • Haha,... Arum is funny...uhm wait...ANNOYING!

I remember when Arum uses to distract Pacquiao's training for Pac-Morales2 by dropping by the training camp and shout aloud that his boy Erik Morales would knock Pacquiao out...considering that Pac and Erik are both his fighters... that's how sleezy Arum gets just to hype up a fight.

    • Arum is kidding himself. Mayweather-Pacquiao does a lot more on PPV then Cotto-Pacquiao does.

Mayweather should fight Mosley to really pressure a fight with Pacquiao.

That's pretty hypocritical of Mayweather to get into bed with The Bobfather to fight Pacman but won't do it to fight Cotto.

(Quote: Cotto needs to be his own promoter to get a fight with me)

Floyd wanted to fight Cotto AND Hatton after the Gatti fight at 140. Neither wanted it after they saw the beating he administered.

Hatton certainly didn't want it then but I'm not sure about Cotto. I think the plan was to build the two of them up into a superfight--and let's not forget it looked almost destined to happen last year after Margarito-Cotto. But two things happened. 1. Floyd retired. 2. Cotto lost.

You make little sense. Floyd is naturally a jr welterweight. Why should Floyd campaign at welterweight when he's not one and Pac shouldn't? Not bashing you at all, I just don't understand how you think a guy that walks around at 155 is a legitimate Welterweight.

And like other guy said, Besides the DLH and Hattons fight, FLoyd PPVs are laughable.

So he doesnt produce as much as he demands. This is a good trick to get him to lower his price.

I still think Cotto-Pacquiao will happend first!!!!!!!!!!
I would almost agree with you. But, Pac vs DLH Did not make as much as DLH vs Mayweather and I'm sure Pac vs Hatton will not make as much as Hatton vs Mayweather. So at some point you have to give Floyd some credit for being a draw. Pac vs Mayweather may break the previoius record for buys. Arum knows this. As for Cotto, don't make me laugh. He couldn't draw flies to ****! Not one of bis bigger fights sold ****. Not even the Margarito fight sold like it should have.

What do you mean? Wasn't Floyd the WBC Welterweight champion..and defended the belt??

Floyd's had fights with Zab, Hatton, and Baldomir at 147 along with a fight with Oscar at 154. He barely did anything at 140 and he knew the money was at the higher weight classes. Plus, the dude walks around at about close to 160.

I'm all for Pac fighting Floyd and IMO it's not that drastic of a size difference, but you're telling me it's unfair for him to fight Cotto or Mosley as if they're too big for him? Then what was Oscar? (WTF? lol)
