  • Anyone who think's there will be a rematch is kidding themselves.

The cut did not help, but even before that, Khan looked as good as he did after the cut.

Barrera knows he is passed it. Many people thought Khan was making a big mistake, and many expected Barrera to KO Khan sooner or later. I mean the odds were 50:50 by the time of the fight, but Khan dominated. I'm pretty sure nobody will want to see it.

Possibly, and maybe the system was corrupt and intentionally wanted the fight to go to the 5th rd and intentionally "gave" Khan a bigger ring with which he could outrun, maneuver, and outbox a guy with no legs. The fact remains that Barrera could have swallowed that pride (knowing what the deal was..they were being biased against him...OBVIOUSLY) and told them he was having trouble seeing, then he could fight Khan in 2 months and still save face. My gosh man...he lost like 2 pints of blood in the ring and anyone who would call him a coward for making the smart choice is obviously a tool.

Guerrero two weeks ago did not have a problem with doing what Barrera was too good to do and now look at Barrera, stuck blaming the judges and refs for being robbed.

What a joke, sorry....just my opinion

Khan looked good even before the cut, but it's easy for an athletic fighter to look good for less than a round against a slow pressure fighter. It's much harder to look good for 12 rounds. Ali looked great for the first four rounds in his first fight with Frazier, Frazier barely landed a punch; then Frazier started to catch up with him in round 5 and it became a war of attrition.

I think Khan would have won handily without the cut, and always did (I bet a lot of points on it, which I'm still waiting for people to pay up on!). But it's not a foregone conclusion, and I think to offer MAB a rematch would be the right thing to do. If Barrera says no, it would make Khan look good. If Barrera says yes, it would be likely to be a much sterner test, and a good learning experience for Khan, with Barrera having 12 rounds with the use of two eyes and Khan's stamina under pressure still being untested at this point.

As much as I dislike this guy, I agree with what he's saying.

                  • If barrera couldn't see, why didn't he tell the doctor? They would've stopped the fight! No point making excuses now!

how can you question khan's chin when MAB never layed alt bog on him. Granted Khan boxed well and if MAB wouldn;t have knoocked him out he would have wone on points. but watch any of MAB's fights and he'll take a lot more that pi$$ punches khan was throwing. he'd have caught khan eventually. still, respect to khan though, he boxed well.

one good thing, khan can't go hiding now, so it's time to step in with one of the big boys who'll spark him clear out and then i'll be sat there saying "PRAISE TO GOD!!"
