Its hilarious people claiming Barrera would have KO'd khan if it werent for the cut. I'm a brit and I expected khan to get laid out at some point during the fight but he shocked me. It looked like Barrera was fighting in slow motion and khan in fast forwad the speed disparity was that distant.

Of course Barrera in his prime would beat khan but boxing is a sport when the old get fed to the young and Khan stepped up to the plate. All the conspiracy jerks about waiting till the 5th are just ****ing numpties theyre too blinded to see past the fact that Khan had too much for Barrera at this point in his career. Khan is still very chinny but his speed is a weapon most boxers would love to have.

Me too, Marco was never in that fight, remarkably though, he was never really hurt. At one point in the fight Khan was a bit wobbled from a MAB left hook. Too bad that cut happened, at least Marco would have had a better chance.

They only made it go 5 rounds so Khan could get the decision! They should of stopped it sooner. Khan should fight prescott again! This is a way overrated victory for Khan!!

I didnt mind spending 15 GBP on that.

Guys dont hate. Amir would have won over 12, MAB wasnt doing too much. He reps the UK, and is a good representative-and seemingly a nice guy.

I agree that Khan was just to much for MAB at his age, and would of beat the hell out of him for the rest of the fight, but c'mon do you really think the fight would of gone to the 5th if Khan got that cut in the 1st? seriously.

Do the ABC rules apply in the U.K. or does the U.K./England have the same rule as far as the 4 round cut by a headbutt rule? I was wondering why Marco didn't opt to call it quits before the end of the 4th. That was a horrible cut.

Well that was a waste of £15! lol..
I must say that Khan looked to have an improved defence tonight, but that's about all we can tell from this fight. His speed has always been there, so thats nothing we can really say anything more about. Its just such a shame that MAB got such a BAD cut so early on in the fight. He didn't look too bad in the early stages of round 1, and was able to dodge Khan's punches at times and showed more movement. But after the cut, it was a no contest. MAB couldn't see out of his left eye whatsoever, and as a result couldn't do anything. He still managed to hurt Khan at the end of the 4th, however.
Still, credit to Khan, he definitely looks improved under Roach and seems to have matured as a fighter. But the jury is still out whether he can compete at the top level, because this fight did not prove a whole lot unfortunately.
