Sorry But You're Not Thinking Rationally

He should fight someone just below world class level next, IMO, like David Diaz or Alex Arthur. Then someone like Katsidis, then a rematch with Prescott, and maybe after that he'll be ready to test himself against one of the elite fighters like Funeka or Juan Diaz. And only after that should he think about Marquez.
While others here are guilty of underrating Khan, you definitely are guilty of OVERrating Khan. Like I said, in this fight with Marco B. he was hardly tested. With or without Roach, Khan would have still beat this version of Marco B. I wasn't one of the dumb ones here who thought Marco B. would beat Khan. I knew better.

However, Khan should stay the hell away from Juan Diaz, Ali Funeka and Juan Manuel Marquez. If he fights them it should be about 5 years from now once their skills have deteriorated. Either one of those fighters destroys Khan if they fight soon.

Amir Khan has great potential but that chin is a serious liability and although Marco B. caught him with one hard punch at the end of the fourth, that hardly qualifies as being tested.

I may come across as a hater but in truth I like Khan and I hope he goes a long way in his boxing career. I'm just not about to say that because he beat up a washed up fighter and Roach is in his corner, his glass chin problems are instantly solved and Prescott would never be able to knock him out again.

That wasn't mine, Big Poppa Pump replaced my title with his.

Truthfully I don't remember what mine was anymore.

I agree with you. But i think Khan will be a champ and for long, they just need to make sure, that they bring him up, properly. You dont fight guys with ridiculos KO % in your 14 fight, thats a no go in any league.

I think he is fast and very strong, a little bit chinny, but not as bad as people makes him to be. With more experience hell do find. Your point about not fightig Diaz,JMM and Funeka is very accurate. he needs to fight a couple of more journey mans, then a couple of very good former champs, and the he can go for the big dogs, but not now!!!!!

i heard terry norris had a glass chin... but recently he had been rated by cliff rold as the numero uno super welterweight... and norris is a HOF...

if u notice, we really dont know if floyd jr has had a great chin... his defense was just that great that his chin hasnt really been tested thoroughly in his career... how can any opponent test floyd's chin? he is very difficult to hit cleanly!

so in a sense, if khan can continue to improve his defense, the liablity of his glass chin will be lessened...

He's a damn good fighter, a bit chinny and scared to get hit on the chin, but that's understandable, considering what Prescott did to him. Who knows, he might be able to take a better punch once he moves up in weight.

Remember Oscar, that fool went down a lot and HARD one time at the Lightweights. But now we talk about how great his chin was. A move up in weight might be the best thing for Khan. I think I'm afraid to see how good Amir could be at 140, but I still think my boy Ortiz will whoop that ass.

Mayweather has a very good chin. It has been tested a few times and it was obviously very good.

Norris, on the other hand, did not have a good chin at all. It l;ost him many fights and nearly lost him more. Brown blew him out, Jackson absolutely laid waste to him, Waters nearly blew him out as well and he had never fought anyone at an elite level, Mullings won their fight by hurting him when he was getting beaten as well.

Norris was a real dodgy SOB though and I don't think Khan has that same weird insanity that Norris had. He was a real piece if **** IMO. Should have been disqualified more than he was as well. Should have been DQ'd against Waters, Curry etc etc.

I think your right. I think he is drained at 135, I bet when he moves up o 140, his chin will get better.

Nah men when Khan decides to move to 140, Ortiz will be a full ww, he is a big JWW hell be on the move after winning a title at 140. But if they meet Ortiz ****s him!!!

A lot? Against who? I only remember him going down once at SFW and LW and that was against the undefeated Campanella at his last fight at SFW.

You need to download some of his early fights, that fool went down a couple times before he hit 140.
