I think JMM should fight someone at 135 in a lightweight title defense. Maybe he can wait till someone wins a vacant belt and pick up a third belt. But if he wants to move to 140 then he should fight Kotelnik, torres, or Urango, or better yet the winner of the upcoming Bradley-Holt unification to help set up a bout with the Pac-Hatton winner.
And even if he's not serious about the Floyd thing (well you ever know) he should keep his mouth shut because if hes trying to get Pac angry it might turn against him and make Pac not want to give him what he wants.
i just think JMM has perfomed way better than Mosley in the last 5 fights. Mosley barely beat Mayorga, don't let that plaster destruction fool you.
Before you **** on Mosley answer this question. Did you expect Margarito to get knocked out at WW, and of all fighters by Mosley?
I was one of the few to pick Mosley to beat Margarito when the fight was announced even after the horrible Mayorga fight, and I was rooting for Margarito. But even I didn't expect Mosley to hurt Margarito let alone brutally knock him out.
Havent seen the Norwood or John fights yet, but I did see the 2 Pac fights. JMM should be at least 52-2.
As for anyone who doesnt think he has the strenght to move up. Mayweather started at 130, Pac at 106 and they moved up successfully. JMM, Pac, and Floyd are all basically the same height. If you use the correct training and nutrition JMM could easily move up 5-7 pounds and be strong and retain his speed and technique.
