I doubt Marquez will get either Pacquiao or Mayweather. Hatton is probably his best shot...IF Hatton wins. Even if he loses a competitive fight though, a showdown in the UK can get them both big bucks.

Other than that, not sure who can bring Marquez big money at 135. I suppose if Barrera were to completely destroy Amir Khan, there'd be some interest in a rematch between he and Marquez...with Barrera going for that fourth division title.

If Marquez moves up to 140 and he doesn't get Hatton or Pac, then his biggest statement fight would be to take on (and beat) the winner of Holt-Bradley.

He's not getting any younger either, so I guess he's thinking about his legacy and money. Those fighters would do very little for him at this point of their careers and only Soto has proven to be somewhat of a legit contender to Marquez his lightweight crown.

I'd like to see him move to 140 sooner than later

Why not a fight with Nate Campbell at 140??

Oh yeah Marquez has a few fights left in his career and I'm sure that instead of fighting for a giant purse against the biggest names in boxing he wants to fight for peanuts against Campbell.

Winner of Marquez-Campbell should face winner of Pacman-Hatton and the losers can fight each other too and both fights be big events.

marquez deserve a payday!... with that being said...

hatton, pac, is the route to aim...

knowing your limits.. .its obvious ur not getting either of those fights for june...

so he should look for a BIG NAME! TO KEEP HIS MOMENTUM GOING & GAINING MORE RESPECT... IN ORDER TO REACH.. THE

              PAC - HATTON WINNER PAYDAY!

if i was marquez or his manager!!

i would aim to JoAN GUZMAN! i know its a very difficult fight cos of joan style...but if i was marquez manager! i would go & hunt guzman!

I think Campbell is a great fighter and all but to mention him in the same breath as Hatton, Marquez, and Pacman is laughable at best.

That would be a good fight, but Guzman ****ed up his carrer (for now) big time by not making the weight and not fighting nate, nobody is even talking about him anymore he needs a big win before fighting for the belts.
