Juan Manuel Marquez Ready To Return in The Summer

Juan Manuel Marquez received a hero's welcome once he arrived in Mexico, crowded by friends and family, who celebrated last Saturday's knockout win of Juan Diaz in Houston, Texas. Marquez received three stitches on his right eyelid from a cut that he sustained in the fight. He says the fight with Diaz was tough, but he was able to win with God on his side and brought home the WBO/WBA lightweight titles. [details]

What he said about his 4 losses is somewhat true. I was thinking about this last night. His losses to John and Norwood were straight up bull****. His first loss in his first pro fight was a DQ. And his last loss to Manny, well, that's up for discussion.

But Cotto loses 1 fight and he's damaged goods LOL

Why not a fight with Nate Campbell at 140??

Sounds like a LW defense comin. He obviously couldn't get the Pac-Hatton winner that quick.

Marquez vs Campbell would be good, but I doubt it will happen. he will probably go after the winner of Bradley vs Holt.

It's amazing how you all Cotto nuthuggers turn everything into a Cotto affair. Now that we're on the subject, Cotto took more putasos in that single loss that JMM has took in all 4 of his.

Co-sign. Marquez has never been more beat up than his opponent.

Nate Campbell is a nobody at 140, if JMM is going to fight him it should be at Lightweight.

I dont see people throwing names like Guzman, Soto, or Valero his direction. Line him up with those fighters. Move up to LWW and take a title there.

If he is serious about wanting Pac, he should move to 140.

I mean Hatton already said that he would fight JMM in the UK. So thats a good sign.

JMM should go after Urango, who is limited but very strong, he can measure a he do at 140 and win a title in the process. If he do good, then he can aim for bradley, JUdah,Holt, ect, ect, ect.

And if he if only looking for money, he should fight Maligmaggi and then wait for Hatton. He doeswnt have any more businnesses at 135!!!!!!!!!
