Juan Diaz is in the prime of his career.

So when's the last time Pacquiao knocked out somebody like that?
You forget that nate campbell was the real #1 lightweight, so jmm KOing diaz doesn't mean all that much.

I never considered Campbell the #1 at Lightweight. Why? Because he wasn't the lineal Champion.

And all this Campbell **** will be squashed once Marquez moves up and takes Nate's ass out with ease. The difference in skill between these two is staggering.

I just don't buy excuses man. It's not the opponents' fault if he beats the **** outta you. if you do, then you got what you deserved because you played the game. It's a brutal sport where fighters use every advantage they can to make as much money as possible, but when a fighter beats a "shot" fighter he gets it in the neck for doing exactly that. It's wrong.

The only time I have sympathy is when it's someone like Liston at the end of his career. Basically, fighting to keep a roof over is head and put food on the table. Those fighters who already have enough but can't stop because they can't resist the millions... forget it.
It's not sympathy or any of that stuff, they get in their because they are making bank and their advisors are making bank off of them. All dlh lost was pride and laughed his way to the bank. Same with Sugar Ray Leonard, Tyson, and other dudes.

Otherwise they would retire at sensible times.

Of course the opponent is gonna take someone's head off.

I don't have anything against PAC taking the most money. Why wouldn't he?

Agree with you, Bringer. No offense to Nate, but I see him getting an ass whipping against Marquez.

So you consider the guy Campbell beat the best lightweight prior to losing to Marquez?. Im trying to see your arguments as fair but I can't get where your coming from...I agree Marquez destroys Campbell though, no arguments there.

Duran would sleep Marquez at 135.

Yeah, me neither. What I'm getting at is those who criticize Pac for fighting Morales and such. "Boo hoo... Pacquiao forced him to 130 and Roach locked Erik up in a cage without any clothes on for 3 months before that fight, feeding him only on lettuce."

                You know.

Nate gets knocked out cold against Marquez. The same way Marquez knocked out the true lineal Champion, in Casamayor.

After that people will be saying he's not **** at 140lbs either, because Nate was just moving up as well, or that Pacquiao is #1 for beating Hatton (which I would agree with actually, since Hatton is the man at 140lbs).

Pacquiao and Marquez need to just straight whitewash 140. It's a **** division and it's about time it gets exposed as such. With Pac and Juan there, I don't thinks will look too good for guys like Malignaggi, Bradley, Holt, Torres, etc.....
