Pacquiao is the same age as Hatton, having fought more and been in wars... Why is Pacquiao at his prime and Hatton an older fighter??? Why was Morales at this same exact point of his career that Pac is now, a faded fighter? Check the bias.

You think he could make it at 147lbs?

I mean ****, he walks around at about 180, he should be fighting at 147lbs. But he sheds the extra weight so he can make 140 and be a big name.

He'd be starched in any other division by any top 5 fighter.
Man Hatton is a live challenger. His only loss was to p4p #1, 7 pounds higher than his usual fighting weight.
I gave props to JMM for fighting JD even if nate beat him awhile back.
Ortiz hasnt proven anything to fight pacquiao you know it, i know it thats why the fight shouldnt happen now. with all due respect.

I personally think Hatton is past-prime and Pac is in his.
This is not the same Hatton that fought Tszyu that's for sure.

I don't think that's an excuse for anything. I just don't Hatton is as good as he was, age or not. His style makes for short careers.

Exactly.. once somebody loses when they are 30 and above, they are automatically shot.

I bet if Mayweather came back and Lost, everybody would say he is SHOT. It's bull ****.

I think the word SHOT is overrated.

            Their are shot fighters tho
            like
Roy Jones Jr.... since he got knocked out, he cant pull the trigger no more, and lost his superhuman reflexes. He's SHOT.

And it is cherry picking because Hatton has looked like **** the last couple years, even Lazcano had his ass stumbling and out on his feet.
You forgot to mention Kostya and Castillo and a couple of other names... Ricky is definitely elite and is a much greater challenger than Juan Diaz though Diaz is a great awesome fighter in his own right. Your giving props to Juan Diaz and Marquez for beating him even though he was beaten by Campbell prior, and not Pacquiao for facing a guy that only lost to Mayweather... Like I said check the bias.

Same as the age excuse for Calzaghe-Jones. There was only a couple of years difference but apparently JC was picking on old men.

I hate these excuses. If you play the game, prepared to get beat at any time. That's just the way it is. Too old? Then get out the game. It's up to the fighters to be smart enough to realize when they are done.

When was the last time former flyweight champion moved up to 147 and destroyed a legend like Oscar DelaHoya?

Funny how JMM beating Juan Diaz suddenly made him a God to some fans.

Hatton looked like **** at 147. But looked good last fight at 140. No matter what you say, Hatton IS the man at 140 and has proven himself to be by BEING UNDEFEATED AT THAT WEIGHT.
No, I wouldn't. Hatton is ****, period. I'd say it no matter who he fights. If he somehow beats Pacquiao, and it's a Marquez/Hatton fight we're looking at, I'll be the first person out the gate to say "Hatton is ****, Marquez will KO his ass with ease".

Seriously, the guy walks around at a weight something like 180lbs, he fights at 140lbs, why? Because he'd be killed at either 135 or 147.

So he fights at 140lbs where he can keep his inflated record and big name preserved....Well, at least until May 2nd anyway.

                    WAR Pac!

Here's the thing about this. Tell me 99 Roy Jones looked like 2008 Roy Jones.
                      Its' not even close.

Fighters almost never know when to get out.

I don't think Hatton is like those extreme circumstances, I just think against Tsyzu he was at his best and hasn't looked as good since.
