Nice to see a Rican admit that. I was unsure how the reaction would be.

I feel that the main difference between Sergio and Joe is that Sergio throws SHARP, straight punches, and Joe didn't.

To me that is the main difference between Joe and Sergio. Sergio throws a limited number of high quality punches (sharp, quick with a bunch of snap on them), while Joe is much more about volume then quality.

they are similar but sergio isnt a slapper and he actually fight prime fighters in his prime in the US. sergio didnt pad his record with chumps like calzaghe.

I think so. Even the way they were brought to the majority of fans.

You have both fighters letting the public know about them with amazing performances. Calzaghe against Lacy and Martinez against Buenma.

Then you have them both looking somewhat oridinary against better competition in Bika and Cintron.
