he didnt make the 10 count... it doesnt matter. .if he was claiming that it was a headbutt.. the ref.. was counting in front of him...

maybe he was so stumblle that didnt notice that either.
100% you can read the long thread where I made this argument the day after the fight I will bump it for you since I do not feel like making the same case again. I have seen the situation like 20 times ( I watched the fight 4 times and I think they show about 5 replays).

If it is that close I believe the fighter deserves the benefit of the doubt, if he staggered or stumbled when he got up the ref for sure would have called it.

If the ref said it was a knockout I would have no beef at all, because Cintron took his fate in his own hand when you get up inbetween 9 and 10. To me the ref never ended the fight in any way so if the ref says he got up he got up.

Let people, there was mass confusion when Cintron got up and started flipping out not going back to his corner, then Martinez started celebrating like he won (who can blame him for that) then mass confusion ensued because the ref did a piss poor job of explaining the situation and controling the situation.

I never saw him end the fight, if the ref thought it should be over why should he go through the process of clearing the ring to restart the fight (really that is a huge PITA, why would he do that unless he thought Cintron beat the count). The ref never ended the fight, as for people rushing the ring that is their own fault for not knowing what was going on and the ref could have collected the cards because of the confusion.
