It would be good for cottos resume to give another fighter his first loss as hes done to several other fighters.
I was there that night too and you're right MSG was poppin !!!
It would deefinitely be more Cotto fans than Berto fans in there.

though I like both fighters, I would favor Cotto in this one. However, since I am an athlete, I realize that on ANY day, ANY one can win, no matter WHO it is.

LOL..Who has Berto faced ? He hasn't faced anyone remotely close to Cotto's caliber either.

Zab has speed & power and that didn't go well for him. Cotto will break him down and he'll be done by the 9th or 10th round. Berto wears down as the fight goes on all by himself wihout a the other fighter continuously attacking the body like Cotto would. If Collazo was better conditioned he would've been able to take Berto out in the 10 or 11th.

This will be a good fight and I see no reason why it shouldn't happen. Ill be open to bets for Berto in this one, reluctantly!
            Im in!!!

            50k COTTO OVER BERTO

For yous guys that have been there..How IS the Garden to watch a fight? Not as far as the "excitement factor" but as far as sightlines and being able to get a decent seat/view of the action for around $200?

Ive only been to Boardwalk Hall and it's obviously a much smaller venue..

I live in Philly and I'm thinking about making the trip up for the Cotto fight in June...

I disagree. Judah busted up Cotto's face and hurt him early. Cotto strength wore Judah down and the better man won. But Judah and Berto are two different fighters. I would slightly favor Cotto but it's no gimme. Cotto is not invincible and far from it. I think Berto's people see something that makes them confident about this fight. It remains to be seen.

That's a ridiculous statement. That's like saying if Collazo had an extra arm he would would have stopped Berto Thefact is Berto pulled out the two rounds big and he deserves credit for that. Making excuses for Collazo doesnt cut it. It's only speculation anyway. He was in good enough condition.

That would be great but I'm not high on Berto's punch resistance so I'm gonna go with a Cotto KO in 7. Love unification though
