Mayweather wanted to Unify with Cotto and hatton after he beat Gatti.Arum felt Cotto was`nt ready.Floyd is not waiting around for anyone.
then at 147
1.Cotto is not a big enough draw(If he wasnt a draw at 147, how he was a dra wat 140, so teres gos him wanting to fight Cotto at 140)
2.I wont do bussines with arum
3.Cotto needs to be his own promoter
4. ill fight a Miguel Cotto, but not now. Then What happends? he retire
After PBf won against Hatton, everybpdy was calling fro Maywetaher Cotto, it had the perfect timing for the fight. Even Mosley said that Cotto should fought the winner of atton-PBf in their post fight interview!!!!!!!!!!
After the hatton fight, there was no biggest fight legacy for PBf than Cotto. And what he did he retired!!!!!!!!1Last edited by Ch@mpBox@PR; 02-11-2009, 02:26 PM.

Its not if you win a vacant belt or not, is the quality of he opponent you are fighing for the belt. thats why i say getting a belt for fighting Jennings ridiculos. Matter of facts, Bertos win over rodriguez equals Cottos wn over Jennings!!!!!!!!

And you gotta love Berto for challenging Cotto, that's a huge step up and shows he is willing to fight the best.
