Cotto has never took anybodys belt, doesnt mean hes not a champ. somebody had to fight for the belt Mayweather gave up. and theres only 3 fighters left in the WW division. Cotto,Clottey and Mosley, so he has to fight somebody. if he loses then screw it, he has to comeback like Cotto and Pavilk thats all.

He fought Carlos Quintana for his belt, berto fought the great miguel Rodriguez. Its not if you win a vacant belt or not, is the quality of he opponent you are fighing for the belt. thats why i say getting a belt for fighting Jennings ridiculos. Matter of facts, Bertos win over rodriguez equals Cottos wn over Jennings!!!!!!!!

I agree. Cotto never fought a guy that hits hard and fast like Berto does. Malignaggi gave Cotto some problems with speed.

Isn't Sugar Shane Mosley strong and fast enough? The key in this matchup will be experience, but it will be a hell of a fight.

It doesnt matter who you fight between fights. is the work you put in the gym. A big time fighter fights every 4 months. Thats good enough, to get prepare for a fight. A previous fight doesnt prepare you for another fighter, that logic is ridiculous!!!!!!!

so do you think Berto would have a better shot at beating Cotto after the Rodirguez fight or Collazo?? I'm not saying that it makes the fight, but Cotto fighting a cupcake like Jennings to fighting Berto is a big jump IMO.
