See,when joe announced his retirement yesterday,I just knew this would happen.The haters tried to have a field day on it,but sure enough(with the exception of froch,but he is probably a bit pissed about it,fair enough),the respectful accolades from the real people within the boxing fraternity come out,as is proper,and the haters almost sound like they are crying.what the fcuk are they going to say when some of their favourite fighters pay tribute as I expect they will over the coming days weeks and months?
I know what fcuking carlton will say! he will probably say,"I have always respected him.IMO he is not a prime rib roast,atg,hof,top100,p4p,snivel,****ing snivel" what a ***ing dork!!!!!

So...according to the list of this very site....with Mosley jumping back into the mix....America now has FOUR in the Top 10......and it'll be FIVE when Mayweather comes back....Bernard Hopkins has not announced his retirement and is considered "active" for the record......

Now IF Calzaghe decides to ever fight again....which he probably won't....that would give you one again....but THEN again....he's more Italian/Welsh than "British"....The Italian Dragon (lol) will tell you that himself...he's "The Pride of Wales"....not "The Pride of Britain".....but we'll give you that one since he was born, raised, and based out of The U.K. and all....you definitely need the help...

Duran was 29/30 when he fought Leonard he had been fighting at all diff weights and im sorry prime Duran was lightweight master Duran. Then when he fought Hearns and Hagler he was even further from his prime.

Hagler was past his peak when he fought Leonard, the Mugabi fight took alot out of him and even in that fight he wasnt peak. Although the Duran fight kind of laid the blue print as how to do it, This is what confirmed for Leonard that he could beat Hagler as he saw him missing punches and taking punches that he wouldn't normally in the Mugabi fight

Maybe u have to review ur resources & watch all their fights...in the first place i'm a fan of them all & grew in their era, Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran and watched most of their fights...most of their fights were incredible, exciting, fantastic, never been dull, etc. of which their rivalry of this magic 4 all at their prime contributes a lot to lift up high the reputation of their era, that makes them great...it's not their age but the way they battle each other competitively, w/ style & dominance to other boxers not to exclude Wilfredo Benitez but then if someone tells about excuses about their performance then it perhaps or somehow degrades their reputation...

LOL all i've been doing is debating thats it, i gave Joe Calzaghe credit. All i said is i don't think he would beat Thomas Hearns, then you have a pop at me for nothing.
