You're completely missing the point, mate. Benn was talking about fighters who were at their peak at lighter weights, none of them fought anywhere near their peak at super-middle or light-heavy. And Benn wasn't talking in P4P terms, he was just saying that for example, Duran, who was at his peak when he was at lightweight, would have lost to Calzaghe if they'd fought at super-middleweight. Anyone who disagrees with that is hugely under-estimating Calzaghe. P4P, Duran was a better fighter, but not at super-middleweight. You're really showing a lot of bias.

Well we can start with Sven Ottke who also retired undefeated and has as many or more super middleweight title defenses than Joe.

But who was never rated as a P4P fighter, so that's not a fair comparison at all.

I don't why you think having an undefeated record is the end all be all. Do you think Joe Calzaghe is one of the top five fighter's of all time or something?

To be fair he didn't say he thinks it's the be all and end all, he only says he deserves some respect. He doesn't give the impression in his posts of rating him as highly as you say he does. But Calzaghe is rated as one of the top 3 current fighters by almost all boxing experts. Not of all time, but of the current bunch. Which is far higher than the haters posting here give him credit for.
