    Exactly!

Larry just got his Floyd glasses on when it comes to this one.

I dont think they are very similar at all.

Floyd fights very differently to Pea. Moves different, throws punches different, their range is different.

I think Floyd stands a very good chance at beating Whitaker.
Whitaker took too many chances. I think Floyds fast accurate single shots would be able to catch Whitaker fairly often.
Whereas Whitaker would have absolute hell trying to catch Floyd at range.

Floyd on the backfoot is just so damn slippery.

Maybe Whitaker could outwork him, but i can see Floyd winning.

I'd pick Whitaker, based on the fact much lesser fighters such as Zab Judah have been able to give Mayweather problems for half the scheduled rounds.

i would pick Sweet Pea, but people calling it an easy night's work are being harsh on Floyd

            close UD or SD

DLH is no bum thats correct and if that DLH had fought Mayweather he would of lost too, because he was on his way to beating Floyd and that was an old DLH.

Floyd and Pernell are very different. When I'm watchin Pernell I don't really think of Floyd. Pernell jabs well Floyd rarely uses his jab. And Floyd waits on his opponent just about all the time. Pernell does initiate first more than Floyd does. I think Floyd's the more complete guy but either guy could defeat each other.

I'm a Mayweather fan but no way does he beat a prime Pernell. For those who think he does go back and watch a bit of Pea from back in the day. I would say Haugen is a good place to start.

At 154 I might agree with you but I still think 147 Floyd beats Oscar at 147. It would be a close fight tho.
