    one fight?

dude leon spinks beat ali.... but he sux

point is if mayweather lost one fight, regardless of who he lost to, he be written off as nothing........ but its okay for duran to lose 16 fights? if thats not bias, then i dont know what is.... if duran is atg. then mayweather is at let 30 slots ahead

He beat, Cuevas, Buchanan, de Jesus...some good names

he was overrated though, but as far as boxing goes he was a great fighter. you can pick anyones record apart even Leonards.

I agree though, there are many fighters who showed more skills than Duran did against Leonard, part of that win was just his all around toughness and strength.

Hopkins vs Trinidad is a perfect example, 40-0 Trinidad was a powerhouse and Hopkins gave him an ass wooping. Pacquiao vs De la hoya was another great show of skills.

Even Hagler beating Hearns is a good example, great game plan and executed properly.

Hopkins and Mayweather have NEVER beaten anyone on the level of Ray Leonard. One win over an all-time great is better than none.

Mayweather and Hopkins have many Barkley, Moore, DeJesus, Buchanan-level wins against opposition such as Castillo, Corrales, Tarver, Trinidad.

Duran lost 16 fights because he fought until he was 50 years old.

History is unkind to newer fighters, but Mayweather although very skilled, didn't seem to want to fight some of the better fighters, Duran was calling guys out when he was 50 years old for Gods sake.

I don't have him in my top 5 thats for sure, but i'd put him in the top 20.

bernard is 44....... he doesnt have ne where near 16 losses.... both hopkins and mayweather stood a hell of a chance of beating leonard if duran beat him..... in fact, if leonard lost to duran, then what does that say about his atg ranking?

Leonard redeemed himself with a close win over hagler.... if not for that, his atg ranking would be late 40's early 50's imo

Terry Norris wrecked Lawlor before Joe fought him.

                  True story!

WHo has Duran beaten thats so good? Davey Moore, Iran Barkley??? lol

If someone like Floyd Mayweather got Ko'd in 2 rounds today (duran vs Hearns) he would be an absoulete laughing stock, but for some reason people seem to forget about Duran's losses and even have the nerve to have him in the top 5 P4P greatest of all time? LOLOL

Dont even mention his lightweight record because its full of cab drivers and roadsweepers.

Duran- Lightmiddleweight champion! Who did he beat???......Ummm, Davey Moore who was a complete novice

He is by far the most overrated boxer (or even athlete) in the history of the sport and the history of all sports.
Everytime he stepped up to the plate he lost.
