    LOL need i go on?
WHo has Duran beaten thats so good? Davey Moore, Iran Barkley??? lol

If someone like Floyd Mayweather got Ko'd in 2 rounds today (duran vs Hearns) he would be an absoulete laughing stock, but for some reason people seem to forget about Duran's losses and even have the nerve to have him in the top 5 P4P greatest of all time? LOLOL

Dont even mention his lightweight record because its full of cab drivers and roadsweepers.

Duran- Lightmiddleweight champion! Who did he beat???......Ummm, Davey Moore who was a complete novice

He is by far the most overrated boxer (or even athlete) in the history of the sport and the history of all sports.
Everytime he stepped up to the plate he lost.
Duran at least had the balls to fight real fighters, fighters who were a threat.

Tell me an old Sharmba Mitchell an old Baldomir, Henry Bruseles, Judah, old Gatti, old ODLH, were a threat. Duran moved up to fight the best of the beasts. Floyd cherry picked his way to the top. Had Floyd fought people like, Williams, Cotto, Mosley and the likes there of, then I would be praising PBF a little more but, he left a lot of things undone in numerous weight classes. Not to mention he barely got past Jose Luis Castillo his first time around. Floyd is good and maybe even great but his record/opponents ain't all that either. Floyd's best work was at the lower weight classes. Anything Floyd did later in his career was WHACK. Most of his fights at the higher weight classes were boring as fuuck. Hence the nick name, Pretty Boring Floyd.

Well Vilamor Fernandez beat Alexis Arguello and Duran waxed him late in the fight. Carlos Palomino was a pretty good WW too.

He nearly beat your idol how many lbs north of his natural weight divison

You're right, Duran is a bum.

I mean he lost to Calzaghe victim Pat Lawlor, didn't he? No further proof is needed. He also had 16 losses, a journeyman's record.

His win against Leanord has got to be one of the best, if not the best win ever by a fighter imo. The skills displayed in that fight were masterful.
are you serious?you can find many fights thaty displayed better skills than that fight.

            gatti v. mayweather.

            pavlik v. hopkins...

i see how this works.... this makes me happy bcuz it shows me that mayweather will get so much praise in the years to come

he's a little bit overrated but not to the degree you are making it sound like. He beat some solid fighters that you failed to mention.

another attemp to discredit mayweather, while hyping up duran.......... like seriously, duran was a journeymen....... es not a atg...... theres not enough room on the list for journeymen........... if hes on that list for who he fought v. who he actually beat then you have to put fernando vargas on the list as well as ricardo mayorga on the list..... period

                      The point is,

Leonard is possibly a top 10-20 ATG

Pavlik and Gatti do not even make top 200.

Duran looked just as great as Mayweather and Hopkins did against Gatti and Pavlik against opposition such as Davey Moore (LMW champ) and Esteban DeJesus (LW champ).
