When a fighter is all about brute force and durability, like Margarito, it's just not the same when they try to move up in weight.

But it is a great thing about boxing, anyone can win/lose. Hopefully there are more matchups between top fighters, whether it be Mosley, Williams, Margarito, Cotto, Berto, etc, etc. Bring it all on, the rematches and everything. Fans will support all fighters, even if they lose, as long as they keep entertaining with good performances.
Let’s not have these protected fighters who just cherry pick fights and never fully realize their potential.
All of these great fights and Mayweather hasn't fought one of those guys. It truly is messed up.

I'm not busting on Mayweather but damn, I'd love to see the best fight the best.

He didn't have much defense to begin with.

I didn't want to open up that box but yes, like Hatton. I used to think that Pacquiao was doomed at the higher weights but he adjusted with excellent lateral movement. Hatton and Margarito don't have those wrinkles to their games.

I think he means he didnt clinch. Mosley clinched when he wasnt even hurt.

Cotto didnt clinch either. Clinching saves lives.

That happened to Tommy Hearns in the first Leonard fight. It was a new experience for him at 32-0 with 30 Ko's.

He had no head movement but still, holding your hands up and not giving too much of a target is some form of defense.

They should have PSAs saying "Clinching saves Lives". It just comes with experience. Look at Hatton in the Mayweather fight, once he was tired and beaten, he was nothing more than a wading target.
