      What shocked me???

I thought if Mosley was to win it was gonna be by winning the early rounds
moving never getting drawn into a battle and nicking it on points
NOT beating the Mullet off that boy and knocking him out in the 9th
That and he couldnt miss with that right hand
It was like the mullet had a target drawn on it

I agree, it happens, but damn, his people should have pulled him out the fight after the 8th. He went out there and got pasted. For fans who love to see durable fighters beaten to a pulp, this is must-see TV.

Hell yeah, Mosley has always been a very strong fighter. Remember, Margarito couldn't cut it at 154 pounds but Mosley could. I knew that Mosley was going to be very game, he always is, but I didn't think he'd completely dominate him like that.

I'd like to see them both get a win behind them, then go back at it. Mosley deserves a rematch with Cotto, but if the Mayweather fight materializes he would be foolish to turn it down.

I hope Cotto takes notes and realizes that running from Margarito is an exercise in futility.

The outcome of this fight was truly surprising.
But it is a great thing about boxing, anyone can win/lose. Hopefully there are more matchups between top fighters, whether it be Mosley, Williams, Margarito, Cotto, Berto, etc, etc. Bring it all on, the rematches and everything. Fans will support all fighters, even if they lose, as long as they keep entertaining with good performances.
Let’s not have these protected fighters who just cherry pick fights and never fully realize their potential.

This is the thing, it's easy to play Monday Quarterback but Mosley needs to be lauded for his efforts. Mosley has fought guys like Fernando Vargas, Winky Wright, Raul Marquez and Oscar at 154, most of those guys would have been too big for Margarito.

When a fighter is all about brute force and durability, like Margarito, it's just not the same when they try to move up in weight.

I don't think he was of sound mind at that point personally, and that the corner should have taken the initiative and halted the fight. Sure, a lot of boxing fans wanted to see a more conclusive ending but damn, that really is someone's life in there. He was clearly beaten to the brink of total destruction.
