    Reason why I said possibly
JLC? No way does he beat Mosley at that weight, that is the only reason I dismissed you.

I don't think Mayweather would UD him easily at that time. I actually think it would be a toss up. That was when Mayweather fought offensively as well. Mosley probably would have been able to light him up. If JLC could lay leather on him Mosley with a superior speed and style, as well as possibly superior power would have been no easy task. Mosley hit so hard P4P it is hard to tell. how it would go.

Mosley has never been a defensive fighter. And at that point in his career his trainer(pops) would not have given him to many game plans that is for sures.

Arguello is a nice mention as well as Leonard. Unfortunately I have never seen the other fight.

Not at all, its your opinion and you could very well be right. The way I look at it though is that Shane never fought anybody at that weight who could work the body, apply pressure and hit as hard as Chavez. Im not saying JCC WOULD win, but I can't dismiss him either.

You think he would actually give Mosley even a little bit of trouble? Mosley would counter a right over his lazy jab all night long and follow it up with a left hook. It wouldn't be pretty.

Nice way of putting it. There is a lot to be said about past fights with Mosley, to bad he didn't have a lot of talented comp in his short reign there. All those guys were at 130 at the time.

The Mayweather fight could have fallen threw only Mosely wouldn't want to risk the DLH fight (I don't blame him)
Mosley was not a lightweight though. He admitted that he was only at the weight for a matter of minutes before the weigh-in and then ballooned up.

Mosley was so much fun to watch at 135. I love his fight with John John Molina, that was a really entertaining brawl.

It is true and the problem with Mosley is that he lacked defining fights at 135. He was probably not even the most qualified champion at the weight then, it might have been Stevie Johnston but that is another fight that never happened.

He really wasn't. He was a big big dude at the weight but he was laying people out.

When he moved to welter, I almost expected the same but I should have know n better.

You're dismissing an all time great based on grainy film footage where every third frame or so is missing to distort the action. Fact is, Leonard fought the best comp of any lightweight in history. Kind of hard to just dismiss him based on 10 minutes of footage, no?
