And Roy Jones would have been a good welterweight. I mean, come on.. Of course it would help. But do you see his build? He would die trying to make weight. It's not realistic.
Anyone think Berto would be more effective at 140? Poll!

from Dre himself:
"El_Jefe: Thanks for taking this time just before your fight to be here Andre.
I was curious due to your muscular frame, do you have any difficulty making 147? If so, how do you think you would fare at 154?
Andre_Berto: nah not at all last fight against Forbes I came in at 145 and only gained a few pounds after the fact but I do believe I can fight at 154 because in the amateurs I fought between 152 and 156 so it's not a weight I am unfamiliar with.

Not starting **** AT ALL... but have you ever cut weight before.. LIKE THAT?
If that dude is making 147, and the very next day hes 160.... it means making 140 would damn near kill him... and cutting muscle is not only difficult but can have drastic effects...
IMO, it would be too dangerous to ATTEMPT 140, then to just stay at 147 and work on his skills.Comment

You would think that would be obvious, but apparently it isn't. I have doubts that Judah can be effective at 140. Berto at that weight is simply ridiculous.Comment

btw, roy jones not making WW is obvious. Berto, being a short WW and trying to make LW is not obvious, its a debatable topic.Comment
