Also, what weight did he fight at as an amateur?
Perhaps you are correct and he physically cannot but if he can I think it's his only realistic chance of being an elite fighter.

Ive seen berto up close and personal and let me tell you he is a big dude and could never make 140

I wouldn't get ahead of yourself, I think berto is a late developer and far from the finished article, he makes so many mistakes which is a good thing cos there is a lot he can work on and he did still compete on even terms. He maybe won a title too early which can sometimes happen, so he now has to learn against better fighters and may pick up a loss, but I think he'l come good in his late 20's.

Im not sure there are any fighters out there that could dominate collazo at the moment apart from maybe floyd but I think thats about it, so even if berto improved I don't think he could come back and dominate collazo in a rematch, only reason why mosley did was because of luis hand problems in that fight.

i think if he could, he would alredy done that...but seeing also his not so great chin (good chin but he got caught in the past and was stunned by Collazo who is not the bigger puncher at ww) he could be very vulnerable at 140.

I assume he would go at the scales totally drained and his chin would definately suffer from that. He kinda has the same problems that Cotto has...hes a bit too small for ww, but hes too bulky for junior ww.

He came into the Collazo fight at 160. He would be wayy to drained at 140.

He's already cutting weight to make 147...dude is a middleweight, just short as hell

He just needs to learn some defense...Floyd/Roger where you at?

yeah...mosley tho went better against Collazo because he kept moving his head and constantly turned around him so he wasnt a sitting duck for his opponent.

He did a great job of being elusive, blocking his right jab, and getting in, land and get out turning around on him, resulting in Collazo being confused and having it very difficult in pulling the trigger.

Although he has a naturally large build, he is definitely in the gym keeping it up. He's jacked. The only other WW with a muscle build like his is Clottey. I realize he is young but I think his career has a relatively limited ceiling if he stay at WW. He generally overpowers fighters, that's his method of victory. That won't work for half the top 10 wws. Out of curiosity what does everyone see as his next stepup fight other than the Collazo rematch?
not everyone that has muscle lifts weights... true story.

I think Clottey is praying every night for a fight with Berto to happen.

Yeah obviously mosley fought a lot smarter than berto, but he was just reluctant to throw his left obviously cos of the injury, and you noticed a big difference after the 2nd round collazo just stood there and took body shots. I think mosley would have won anyway but I think collazo would have been competitive like he was in the 1-2 rounds had he not hurt the left

Yes, he is carrying too much muscle at 147. And user scott is an ass not even on purpose, he made front of me thinking berto would fit better in at 140
